When I was young, I thought 2 K years ago incredibly ancient. Now I'm 68, and now I realize that its not long ago. Our Lord has transcended time. Praise you lord Jesus thank you Lord.
Pastor, I cherish the Good News you proclaim! You explain the Bible happenings so clearly and apply it to our lives here and now! Bless you for your ministry!! Love, Patty
The answer is clearly written: Galatians 4:4-7..."But when the fullness of time had come (another words, it was the exact moment) God sent forth his son, born of a woman, born under the law (it had to be a time under the law), to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive the adoption of sons"................ so there could not have been any other time than the exact moment that it happened.
It had to be 40 years before the Torah ended. The Old Covenant age of Israel, guided by Torah, ended in 70 AD. Christ's ministry was in 30 AD, giving the covenantal people of God 40 years to repent before judgement came on apostate Jerusalem in 70 AD. The number 40 is the same number as the 1st Exodus. Christianity was a 2nd Exodus, out of the Old and into the New Covenant age of the Church, from 30 AD to 70 AD. The timing was perfect, 40 years before the eschatological end times of the Old Covenant age of Moses (or the 613 laws of Torah).
You really helped me with many things blessings to you my brother 🙏 I'm closer to the lord everyday because of the work Jesus does for all of us and thank God he keeps us together
Thanks! I accidentally erased the first message I texted and decided it probably was not needed. Another video on the misunderstanding of the Ten Commandments (displayed on a mountain) put your videos on the topic in my queue. Having appreciated your messages in the past, I continued with your two videos ( the first I had previously watched - but watched again). I was convicted by your admission that we have not carried God's name well. I've come to use the term, "Christianism," to refer to our errant practice of following, "The Way." Instead of drawing folk to Christ, we often wind up driving them away because of our prejudices, our inconsistency, our narrow-mindedness, our hypocrisy. Sadly, many so-called Christians are bullies. And I do not exclude myself from misrepresenting the Master. "I won't prolong this" - which is when my little finger tapped something and erased the first text. I just wanted to lend some support and let you know that your ministry has touched my life. Thank you!
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ✝️ was born in 1 AD, and His Public Ministry started in 30 to 33 AD. He suffered, crucified and died on the Cross of Calvary on Good Friday 33 AD.
Every single time I listen to you messages it brighten up the way to interpret the Scripture with more insight. I am busy reading Jeremiah and in Jer15:6 God says He is tired to listen and pity Juda, and if I listen and see what is going on all over the world I think God must be tired looking down watching how his creation is messed up. Have mercy on us, God Almighty.
Since childhood I remind me, every now and then someone would profited the coming of Jesus at specific date, and people was repenting and changing religiously, but I think the COMING OF CHRIST was never more awaited than at this very moment in time, the Gospel has never been so openly communicated than today. Again, thank you for you great insight and gifted talent reaching and touching peoples hearts with the Message of Jesus.
I have wondered this myself. As a History Major I agree with the second reason. The catalyst was the Roman Empire, a common language, the OIKOS (extended family) and the provision of the long awaited Messiah .... in GOD'S timing.
@@gigigennaro3303 I hope I'm not repeating myself my browser closed. I will be teaching that soon if you care to join me there and subscribe, I love the book of Daniel
I have wondered this myself. I suspect another reason was that the law-following way to God had peaked, and passed its peak into a gotcha-playing hypocrisy trend that was impossible for people to call out or fight - and only our Saviour could skewer it like it deserved. It must have been awful for the average God-fearing person to deal with the demanding hyper-righteousness of the pharisees and the cynical greed of the priesthood of that time, without really having arguments against it, because technically (not morally) they were "correct" in their demands according to the law. Every time I read the gospels and see Jesus standing up to the corruption of the religious leaders of that day, I am blown away with admiration. "No man spoke like this man". Indeed!
I might be wrong, at 5:12 min, we see a table estimating the population of Christian. At year 40 we only have 1k. But in Acts 2:41, we have 3k as numbers of soul saved.
All good points on why Jesus chose to incarnate as a human when he did. The expectation of a messiah coming grew in part due to the earlier appearance of Melchizedek during the days of Abraham. Melchizedek knew our Paradise Creator Son was planning on his last incarnation to be as a human, here on Earth [Urantia]. His mission was to keep alive monotheism so the Master would have good theological material to work with as Jesus. And he let his students, including Abraham, know that a Son was coming. Yes, Rome was fertile soil for his message. [He actually spent 6 months in Rome when in his 20's. He met with many of the religious leaders there and shared his ideas. So when Peter and Paul showed up years later, the soil was already fertile for their messages.]
J. Warner Wallace in his book "Person of Interest" gives a number of reasons (2 or which are similar to here) for the timing of Jesus. Yes, people were expecting a Messiah, and you had a fairly peaceful empire for travel, but you also had a common language, a road system that spanned the Empire, the PAX Romana period of relative safety and peace, a mail service and a common and full alphabet. Jesus came today, and nobody would put down their cell phones long enough to even pay attention to him.
Thank you for your insight Brandon. I've often pondered on this question, and I believe that your reasoning is the most understandable and credulous. I can't imagine the Era we're now living as being the time of the first coming of our Lord Jesus. Things have never been so out-of-control in every way, so much so, that we can certainly pose the question, where would we be without our present knowledge and relationship with Him? The warnings He gave us 2,000 years ago, make perfect sense - His second coming is at our doorstep! There's no better time as now! In as much as Christianity has spread all over the world, so has corruption - our immoral ways have become second nature, greed has engrained itself in our minds and souls, self-centered desires reign our hearts and in it all, we have destroyed our beautiful planet! And instead of 'fixing' it we're expanding our horizons into space to find new worlds, we're tampering with God's DNA and are creating the 'unthinkable'! How much longer can God possibly put up with us? It's surprising He has till now... Alas, 'love is like picking crumbs from the table... it is the least accessible 😥
The thing that got me thinking is about what I read on the walls of the Baclayon Church on the Philippine island of Bohol, where first inhabitants were there about 50,000 years ago, I am thinking why didn't Christ come then, not to Bohol but to the world? I think it could possibly be, he came just before we started to really develop, meaning, they had language, customs, housing, and food all established. Another thing I wonder about is that It has only been in the last 100 years that man has really excelled in Technology as we live today, for some reason, why only in the last 100 years not 2000 years ago?
Thank you for your thoughts. You always have I would have liked you to perhaps give reasons why that time was better than others. People have been looking for a messiah for centuries before that, there have been many times the empire was connected, especially today, etc. It would seem the best time to come would have been when Adam sinned, thus not having to go through 4000 years of human suffering. I would love to hear your take on why that time might have been better than say 4000 B.C. when the planet would have been given the right path immediately after it strayed.
#2 makes me think that yes, the second coming is definitely coming sooner than soon because the pattern is prophecy. if Jesus really came in a time when people were connected then he would come back in a time when people are openly talking about how connected we are and talking about becoming one
Have you never studied the 70 weeks of Dan 9? The exact time of Jesus coming was prophesied Luke 2:25 Gal 4:4 please study it out and preach that as the REAL answer to this question of WHY Jesus came when He came. Keep up the good work brother
I would think He also may have picked that time because it was said that He'd be hung on a tree. It's my understanding that was the only time crucifixion was the method of capital punishment.
This question was asked in one of the songs in Jesus Christ Super Star. Judas: Every time I look at you I don't understand why you let the things you did get so out of hand? You'd've managed better if you'd had a plan. Why'd you choose such a backwards time in such a strange land? If you'd come today you would've reached a whole nation. Israel in 4 B.C. had no mass communication. The fact there was no mass communication is the why for the when.
@@Opinionteer And the song continues: Buddha is he where it’s at is he where you are? Did Muhammed move a mountain, or was that just p.r? Did you mean to die like that was that a mistake, or, did you know your messy death would be a record-breaker? Yes, it sounds somewhat sacriligious, but it is food for thoughts.
In my own way I believe in Jesus. But still so many questions about the purpose of his life, death and resurrection. Brandon Robbins, like many other Christians, thinks he knows the answers. But I struggle with these answers like : “He died for our sins”, that is, he took the punishment upon him that we deserve, to deliver us. Sometimes it seems to me this is some kind of ‘trying to making sense of something awfull that was done to a person who did not deserve it’. You still see it these days, for instance, when a young man is stabbed to death just because he tried to intervene when someone else was attacked: his family and friends try to make sense of it ‘that his death may not be in vain’ by erecting a special fund for victims of violence, carrying his name.
On the day of Pentecost (Shavuot) When Peter spoke to the crowd, Acts 2:41 (ASV) records : They then that received his word were baptized: and there were added unto them in that day about three thousand souls. Then after the lame man at the door to the temple called Beautiful was healed in Acts chapter 3 by Peter and John, Acts Act_4:4 records: But many of them that heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand. If 8000 people believed (probably) in the first year after Jesus' resurrection, how can Mr. Stark be correct when he writes that in the year 40 there were only 1000 Christians?
Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection took place around the year 30, so that estimate is probably correct. Based on the accounts of Jesus’ birth, he was born around 6 BC, and it is estimated that he started his roughly 3 year ministry when he was around 30.
Because a preponderance of ordinary Jews of the day were capable of reading and writing. Jesus was going to need a pool of ordinary citizens who could journalize their personal experiences. He did it then because it was the soonest it could be done for those who follow. For us.
Jesus had to fulfill the Father's prophetic timeline and feast days. Is there any other timing where His persecution, death, burial, and Resurrection would make Him the Lamb slain, blood spilled as to cover us from The Father's wrath? This is a real question. Not rhetorical. I have been taught this and am asking if anyone knows of different possible timing? God has a calendar and He keeps His promises. Cheers!
If the first Exodus was prophesied to begin when the iniquity of the evil ones in Canaan (the fiture promised land) would reach its peak (Genesis 15:16), then, as prophesied thru Daniel, the second Exodus too was due to begin when the iniquity of the evil ones (in Israel / the promised land) would reach its peak. In other words, the second Exodus was due to begin because the Temple of God in the Holy land had been totally defiled over the passage of the centuries after the death of Moses and Joshua, and as we see through the books of Kings (1&2) and Chronicles (1&2). And that is why Jesus was so upset when He saw with His human eyes (John 2:14-16) what He had been witnessing from above with His divine eyes. This is my opinion.
Technology, too. In Genesis, men used swords and beasts of burden. I'm not sure about chariots. In Exodus, they had chariots. In the daus of the kings, men used swords and chariots and had carts and plows drawn by beasts of burden. When Jesus came, men still had seords and carts and plows and chariots. Technology didn't really start to advance until after the time of Christ began. Now we have beasts in zoos, plows in museums, and swords barely even count as weapons anymore.
The reason Jesus came when he did? It was Propheced! There are 70 sevens decreed for the people of Isreal and the holy city Jerusalem. 69 of those 7s have been fulfilled. The Angel Gabriel came to Daniel telling him in chapter 9 verse 24 and 25, telling Daniel that from the issuing of the decree to go out and restore and rebuild Jerusalem, until the Anointed one, the ruler comes, there would be 69 sevens. 69 sevens is 483 prophetic years, or 179,880 days. King Artaxerxes gave that decree to the profit Nehemiah. The Jewish leadership were looking for the Messiah at that time, they would have known about that prophecy and they were looking for Him and Jesus held them accountable to that date.
That is true, but unfortunately, it still doesn't answer the question why did God wait. He prophecied that time for sure, but He was the one who established the time table, so really doesn't answer the question why did God chose that time? He could have had the 70 weeks prophecy (or something similar) made to point to some other time.
How can I get in touch with you? I would like to send a book to you. I need to know your mailing address. If I knew your email address I could also communicate with you that way.
Wonderful job! I would add one more. Jesus knew that he had to die for our sins and he needed to be crucified. That symbol of the cross .. had to be. Just like the serpent on the pole. If he came at a different time... He may have been put to death in a different way. We all carry our cross. Peace!!
He had to come at some stage didn't he. If he came today we would be in the same spot in 2000 years with people asking why he came in 2024 and not 4024.
Si es asi porque hay tantas enferkedades y tantos crimenes hay gentes ciegas hay gentes paraliticas ect. Cual es la difetencoa entre esos anos y ahora.
You said John the Baptist wrote revelations, however he would have already been with the Lord in heaven faithfully speaking as to open the ability for a valuable discussion with the acknowledgement of the Spirit of the Truth and for Revelations of the Holy Spirit as Holy and Spiritual, and that people acknowledge the Holy Ghost and the Spirit of Truth, and as Christian's seek to be Holy and Spiritual as living temples as heavenly citizens within the body of Christ through the name of our Lord and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Revelation based on many of your counciling. I invite you to acknowledge the spirit of the Truth that was sent and uphold the teaching of the Godly Holy Ghost as part of the Trinity as the one and only true living God as the Father, Only begotten Son, Godly Holy Ghost. Therefore know that we are called to be Holy and Spiritual temples, and love the truth, therefore seeking in the Spirit of the Truth receiving teachings from the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth as the one and only teacher, seeking in the Godly Holy Ghost as the living true council, and seeking through the only begotten Son for fathering by our Living God our one and only Father, thee only Father as our heavenly father. Therefore some of us Christian's do understand the Trinity very well because we seek in the Spirit of the Truth and know there is only 2 churches, the church of Truth and the church of untruthful. Therefore we don't seek in Greek or denominational teachings because we seek faithful, ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find God willing. You may find Greek mythology within Greek literature and theology courses and that could cause lack of judgement and ability to understand the word of God, as knowingly we are called to seek the Lord thy God with child like hearts, not as intellects, therefore as to not study the word of God as theologists, but seek the knowing of the word of God as adopted children of God being citizens of heaven as written. Referenced as I don't theology as study is of the heavens but would know that to possibly of worldly men, and men seeking self prestige, as to seek in the council of many Faith's and religions and would think that Christian's would only speak of gathering and fellowship in the church of Truth or as and within the body of Christ seeking in our 1 and only Lord thy God Heavenly Father, Teacher, and Council through the loving name of the one and only Lord our loving Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Also you mention the Holy Spirit, as probable translation error being intentionally by the church of the untruthful or by innocence of mankind's understanding giving time and worldly works. However I faithfully believe that your naming the Holy Spirit as mankind's spirit, and then are not addressing the seeking of Holy council by the heavenly Godly Holy Ghost and your not then seeking in the Spirit of thee Truth by name that was sent from the heavens 10 days after the Lord returned to the heavens. Therefore not understanding that as Christian's we are to be as living temples and called to be Holy and Spiritual rather than to ask of Holy spirituality however many Christian's have this mis conception and it impacts their ability to understand the living word of God, leads to much false council and then impacts people of intelligence to believe in the word of God because how Christian's give teachings or council of conflicts that many non believers pick up on hearing the words rather than believing by faith as we're all called to do so we can all be raised by the Lord with personal child like hearts faithfully and carried as adopted children of God. I only am offering this as brethren because I feel as if you truly want to serve God and that you have the will to reach all the lost in the world and offer knowledge and greater understanding to Christian's on Earth although as heavenly citizens and that you are truly love our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord thy God as a living Trinity being the one and only God as the one and only living God, and this giving as the difference S our God told us not to put any others before him. Therefore many Greeks were confused and seemed in many God's and got lost in mythology just as many theologists. However that was only fora short time and now being as written in scripture in the new testament that since all the work is done that their is only one Lord and one God as the living God as it was always written their was only one living God. So the others that were known as Gods in old testament would not be referred to as such anymore and all will now down to our Lord thy God as a living trinity as the Father, only begotten Son, Holy Ghost through our one and only Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. John the Baptist faithfully suggesting would not have present on Earth at the time of 95ad when Bible scholars suggest revelations was written. However you testified that John the Baptist wrote revelations as if you knew it so with this obvious discreferency. Titus Flavius Domitianus in 95 AC. A possible knowing that the John who wrote revelations was of Asian minor, AD 30) is said to have been an itinerant preacher active in the area of Jordan River in the early 1st century AD. He is also known as John the Forerunner in Christianity, John the Immerser in some Baptist Christian traditions, and Prophet Yahya in Islam. ...
Firstly, God didn't just curse Eve - He cursed humanity and the earth. Cursed in the sense that now they couldn't enjoy Eden - they had to struggle, eg to get food from the earth. They were the ones who hadn't trusted God. But the point is that God wanted people with whom He could commune. He knew they'd fall, but guess what - He already had a plan in place! - A plan whereby He would be the one to save us. Isn't that amazing!? And in case you think that God has it in for women - just have a look at Jesus' life, how He treated women - especially in an area where women were not revered. God bless
Like your stuff, but Jesus was not his only son! I am a child of God and so are you. We are his spirit children. Jesus was the fathers only begotten, meaning he is the only one caring his DNA. Remember God chose Mary a virgin and sent the angle Gabriel with his seed to impregnant her. Jesus is perfect and grew up perfect with amazing parents.
The crusades and INQUISITION were not done by Christians I don't agree with your wording, when you said Christians have persecuted Christians. Like you said Christ never persecuted, so I can call myself a Christian but when I don't do what the faith teaches I am not what I call myself. Christ never forced, God's way is always freedom of conscience, he always gives free will, but he gives us the consequences and then we choose. Rome's way is satan's way of forcing the conscience. God gives free will to the angels and they will suffer the consequences and He gives free will to man and He will reap the rewards, life or death. Consequently through the dark ages those were agents of satan forcing the will against the will of God, torturing God's children for believing the Bible and for posessing it or speaking it in their mother tongue and not latin, but mostly they were persecuted because they didn't accept the pope as God on earth. So they were not Christians but seed of the serpent (Gen 3:15) and NO CHRISTIAN HAS EVER PERSECUTED ANOTHER. I cringe when I see the lack of knowledge of Christian history in the minds of believers today. As a result history is about to repeat itself. I try to teach and cause interest in church history as much as possible, for without it our interpretation of prophecy will be way off. God bless your ministry
"God's one and only son" - yes, Jesus is our one and only Paradise Creator Son in our local Universe of Nebadon. But each local universe has their own Paradise Creator Son. And, as Jesus began The Lord's Prayer "Our father..." that means we are all children (sons and daughters) of God. Jesus' message to all is "salvation through faith in the Divine Father-friend and acceptance of sonship with Him." So no, that narrative is inaccurate, and perhaps intentionally misleading on the Vatican's part, (as they were the ones to put the Bible together). Too many Christians intentionally pedestalize Jesus in order to make it seem like what he did was only because of who he is, when in reality, he didn't do anything we cannot. As for the miracles, those weren't his doing, it was the angels chomping at the bit to respond to his slightest whim. [You want wine? We're going to give you and your mother, the best damn wine you ever had!]
i don't understand the need for a messiah? isn't that just admitting that god wasn't good enough for you? that you needed a new god? thus becoming polytheistic. and no, i don't buy the trinity. if god was 3 in one (not possible) you'd think he'd want to explain it better in his word.
It's about us needing someone to pay for our sin in place of us - we have to pay with our death, but if we accept that He died for us, then His death counts as ours, so we are saved from that, and can one day live with Him. What sin?, you ask - well, our pride, which doesn't allow us to trust God - which was Adam and Eve's problem. You say the trinity is impossible - why should anything about God fit into our limited understanding? :)
We need a Messiah because we are sinners we fall short of the glory of God. And if you think ‘what sin?’ Well look around the world. Wars, hate, violence, and more... If there’s no sin and we didn’t commit them then the world wouldn’t be like this. We all say and do horrible things. We might steal, lie, and use Gods name in vain. Meaning we use Gods name Who’s the One that gives you every single thing you have from food, clothing, a LIFE , and we (I think majority have, even me especially in the past) as a swear word. This is just a few. So without A Messiah (Jesus) we would need to pay for all our debt (sin) by eternal death. That’s what we deserve. We do things even when we know it’s wrong. They are wrong because it harms others and ourselves and especially God. So Jesus Christ’s God in flesh The Messiah humbled himself (by coming to the world and not being in heaven on the throne with The Father) and died one of the most shameful, horrific, and painful deaths in history. And on the cross He paid for all the debt we have committed and will ever committed. And He became our perfect sacrificial lamb with no blemishes. He took the death we all deserve upon Himself so we don’t have to suffer so we don’t have to face our own consequence- eternal death. So therefore we don’t have to pay our debt since Jesus already did (we just have to believe/accept it. Then God resurrected Him from the dead three days later and around 500 people saw Him after His resurrection! Therefore he overcomes sin and death. Because we never can do so! So He made it possible for us to be with Him forever and have eternal life because of what HE DID! So all you have to do is to accept His free gift of salvation. What you do is believe in your heart and confess that He (Jesus) is LORD, and that he died on the cross (paying our whole debt) and rose again three days later. To touch on the fact you said That you think by doing this is God admitting He is not good enough I would say no. God is actually too good. He is Holy. If we sinners are in His presence we would DIE! So He is actually super good and holy. And giving us this amazing free gift isn’t showing He isn’t good enough. It’s showing we are not and will never be good enough. Also God never changes. He is the same Tomorrow , yesterday, from the beginning of everything, and till the end. I think you get it... so He doesn’t change or become a new God. From Genesis to Revelation God is the same and from the beginning to the end He is the same. Even the Old Testament mentions Jesus it is just not as obvious. Also God can do the impossible. So nothings impossible for Him. So the 3 in one is not impossible. You cannot put your limits onto God. I have an analogy. A egg is made up of three parts. The yolk, the white, and the shell. All cannot be without each if they are without each other they would not be a whole egg or a functional one. And none are more egg or less egg than the other. So to put this picture into what God is like. He is 3 persons but is one God. So they cannot be more God or less God than each other. Also God doesn’t reveal everything at once. And this probably cannot be fully understood in my lifetime on earth and onwards. However that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist or cannot exists. Like for example I don’t really understand space and every aspect of it but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t or cannot exist. Or I don’t know every language on earth. That doesn’t mean they don’t or cannot exist. So just because we cannot really fully understand God (not because He didn’t explain well and also he doesn’t reveal everything at once) does not mean He doesn’t exist or that He isn’t 3 in one. Hopefully that made some sense. Also sorry for any grammar mistakes. And sorry if I didn’t capitalize ever H in Him, He, and more (when I’m talking about God). This is a long reply.
The messiah was known as God's future provision of salvation for the entire earth, thus it was not another god or person that men were looking for to save them, but God himself. This becomes even more so true when God really did come himself to the earth to die for our sin and rise again for our salvation. The trinity concept is philosophy created by men. The Biblical model is: Man is created in the image of God. Man is made up of 3 parts: body soul spirit. God is made up of 3: body soul spirit. Now we just assign the 3 members to each role: Logically: Soul: Father - we cannot see him and he is regarded as having the role above all. The soul is also the will which explains why Jesus follows the Father's will. Body/Physical manifestation/Image: Jesus: He is the only member of the 3 who actually took on a human nature and a human body and was able to die. He is the image of the Father that we can actually see. Spirit: Yea this one is obvious. The Holy Spirit is the spirit.

Indeed!
I really love your videos. Thank you so much.
Please pray for my mom and my sister. They have not yet accepted Christ as their Saviour. I need prayers for the conversion of their hearts.
Hi, Veena. I just prayed for them.
The book of Isaiah is a great look at expectations of a savior 🙏
Would you please do Romans 13:1-7 thank you for opening my eye
I love your lectures
Can you take more about Virgin Mary?
I said let me stop being stubborn, so I finally subscribed!
From my Bible College days: 1. Pax Romana. 2. Roman roads.
Well said
The thing that got me thinking is about what I read on the walls of the Baclayon Church on the Philippine island of Bohol, where first inhabitants were there about 50,000 years ago, I am thinking why didn't Christ come then, not to Bohol but to the world? I think it could possibly be, he came just before we started to really develop, meaning, they had language, customs, housing, and food all established. Another thing I wonder about is that It has only been in the last 100 years that man has really excelled in Technology as we live today, for some reason, why only in the last 100 years not 2000 years ago?
I have to say, it'd be so much more convenient if Jesus arrived today and had a podcast to clarify things
Or, you know, actually wrote the new testament himself.
Don't Pray just to Pray, Pray to get an answer !

John 10:27
My Sheep Hear My Voice --- Is anyone Listening ?
The exact time of Jesus coming was prophesied
Luke 2:25
Gal 4:4
please study it out and preach that as the REAL answer to this question of WHY Jesus came when He came.
Keep up the good work brother
Amen thank you Brandon
Please can you tell me what is the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST
people ie jesus followers are anticipating his second coming but we await the Lord God as the word is being sent around the world via technology
I would think He also may have picked that time because it was said that He'd be hung on a tree. It's my understanding that was the only time crucifixion was the method of capital punishment.
How much worse would the world be if he waited until now to come? 2000 years without Christ or the Gospels
This question was asked in one of the songs in Jesus Christ Super Star.
Judas:
Every time I look at you I don't understand why you let the things you did get so out of hand? You'd've managed better if you'd had a plan. Why'd you choose such a backwards time in such a strange land? If you'd come today you would've reached a whole nation. Israel in 4 B.C. had no mass communication.
The fact there was no mass communication is the why for the when.
@Opinionteer
I'm glad you brought that song up, I haven't thought of it in decades, thank you! Talk about on point~
@@lorigearhardt2371 Thank you. That song always makes me think about that very topic.
@@tarjan68 Read John 8 and 1John 2. and John 1 29.
Isn’t that the truth we continue to sin thinking we are in control of happiness
For us.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
He could have had the 70 weeks prophecy (or something similar) made to point to some other time.
very ignorant times as well certainly helped..
They were dark times!!

Crucifixion would quickly go out of style shortly after.
depends on what you call "short". It persisted until Constatine ceased it. 300 years later.
Wonderful job! I would add one more. Jesus knew that he had to die for our sins and he needed to be crucified. That symbol of the cross .. had to be. Just like the serpent on the pole. If he came at a different time... He may have been put to death in a different way. We all carry our cross. Peace!!
Why?
The real question is why did we kill Jesus? And would we kill him again?
He had to come at some stage didn't he. If he came today we would be in the same spot in 2000 years with people asking why he came in 2024 and not 4024.
Si es asi porque hay tantas enferkedades y tantos crimenes hay gentes ciegas hay gentes paraliticas ect. Cual es la difetencoa entre esos anos y ahora.
Many unsophisticated people who would believe any foolish ideas.

SERIOUS QUESTION IF GOD KNOW EVERYTHING WHY DID HE MAKE ADAM AND EVE IF HE KNEW EVE WAS GONNA BE TRICKED INTO EATING THE APPLE? THEN CURSE HER
Firstly, God didn't just curse Eve - He cursed humanity and the earth. God bless
i think it's most likely because it's not true. the comedy of the first 2 people ever screwing the whole world over is just way too ironic.
The crusades and INQUISITION were not done by Christians
I don't agree with your wording, when you said Christians have persecuted Christians.
This is completely predicated on Jesus being the only savior in history, making it far too limited for any serious consideration.
This is what serious delusion looks like.
What are you talking about? Local Universe?
God never sent Jesus
i don't understand the need for a messiah? isn't that just admitting that god wasn't good enough for you? that you needed a new god? thus becoming polytheistic. and no, i don't buy the trinity. if god was 3 in one (not possible) you'd think he'd want to explain it better in his word.
@Lina
I really like the egg analogy! Thank you~
@@Lina-uq1wo That is a great explanation! I’ll have to use the egg analogy…..it is brilliant!
The messiah was known as God's future provision of salvation for the entire earth, thus it was not another god or person that men were looking for to save them, but God himself. This becomes even more so true when God really did come himself to the earth to die for our sin and rise again for our salvation.
The trinity concept is philosophy created by men. The Biblical model is:
Man is created in the image of God. Man is made up of 3 parts: body soul spirit.
God is made up of 3: body soul spirit.
Now we just assign the 3 members to each role:
Logically:
Soul: Father - we cannot see him and he is regarded as having the role above all.
