I had to hear how you did this song, because you are perhaps the most brilliant blues guitarist of these times. I have always love this song, because ZZ Top were very clearly paying tribute to John Lee Hooker, and did so beautifully. And now you pay a most beautiful tribute to both ZZ Top and John Lee Hooker. An excellent rendition of this song.

I like the fact that you can see the pedals that might be used, including the looper. Most vids assume you have the appropriate pedal and the sound it generates, and never show this.
It would take me years to play like this and I’ve been playing for years 🤔😁🤷🏼♂️

I can't play the guitar and I *know* that I'll never play like this. I'm a few months into it and I won't live long enough, and I'm totally OK with that. Developing my own talent is its own reward and gives me a finer appreciation of those who are so accomplished. I used to drive through La Grange about twice a week and I know from personal experience that it is virtually impossible to reach the city limits without letting a “…a haw haw haw,” rip! Just south of town the 10 freeway will take you to San Antonio and you pass China Grove on the way. 😎

I Love this guy ( not literally of course) and having many hand made box guitars, didley bows etc I've learnt so much by watching him play. I was in Atlanta last year playing on Black Swan Lanes 8th album and would loved to have met the guy and picked up a few tricks. He makes it look so easy. Great guy. Inspirational! Dave Fielding. Nice to see someone actually utilize both necks as most players at least the ones I've noticed only play with the lower, never understood why they didn't just play a standard single neck.
