A lot’s changed since this happened. Neither of these teams necessarily had or have what you could call a regal tradition in college football, yet people came out in droves to see this game. These days, even 2 historically rich programs have trouble selling out the Orange Bowl. What’s happened?

Louisville should've beat Wake by 30 to be honest. Heisman level qb and a heisman level rb with some of the best receivers in the NFL to this day
Tate McGarvey I'm sorry to say this but Michael Bush had nothing to do with it, I'm only twenty one years old but william gay went off-sides against Rutgers. they called it but they missed the first attempt and they moved five more yards and kicked it again and beat us. so yeah I'm not saying it's Michael Bush's fault I hate how his career ended but he could of won hiseman just saying!
@@supermidgamingWake was literally winning in the 4th quarter. I agree Louisville was a excellent team that year but wake was no push over by any means. They had a top 10 nationally ranked defense that year.
@@leftyshredder9289 yeah bcs bowls were very evenly matched on most occasions. I said nothing 6 years ago about Wake. But Michael bush would’ve ran for 150 yards that day. And Louisville matched up great with Ohio State that year too
