For those who are worried about wider loom widths if you have a smaller waist, you don't need to reduce the maximum loom width (13"-14" per panel). Instead, you can create deeper 'valleys' on the pleats while folding it until the total length meets half of your waist length. Plus, it creates a prettier swoosh on it if you twirl 😊
This video helped me so much!!! I made my entire hakama just watching and rewatching it and I'm recommending it for my friends who want to make theirs too, thank you ❤️
Completed mine hand sewn!! Couldn't believe that was possible but definitely the best and simple 1st garment I made! thank you for the tutorial and the link you shared!! 🥰 I'm excited to make my kosode and haori next year!
hakama are literally the most amazing and comfortable thing to wear haha! i put pockets in mine :D also that Ichigo wig is fire! i cosplayed him like 15 years ago and the wig was the worst and hardest part haha.
Hi I love your cosplay and the tutorial that was very much needed in my opinion one of my friends actually made the cosplay by following your tutorial and it looks awesome btw she made an amazing job the only problem I have with is that when I tried to put on the pants I couldn't find a way to make it look like yours so I was hoping if you could please make a video on how to tie the hakama like you oh and by any chance did you also make the white shash or did you buy it ?
Hey There, thank you and i'm glad you liked the video! Tying the Hakama is definitely something we could do in a future video. I did make the white sash as well. It's just a long tube of white fabric sewn together, but you could definitely buy it if you didn't want to make it.
youre tutorial is realy good. also it look great. do you plan on making the other fullbring stuff as well? and upgrade the read "chain"? because rigth now the only fullbring part is the sword. if so i am 100% hype on how it will look
I don't understand English, but I managed to make the top, but the pants I can't understand how to do and as I don't understand English and the translator isn't good I can't follow the eexplanatio
@@AdonisCosplay ohh I thought you were basing it off of your waist width and dividing it. That's why I kept wondering how you got the 13". So, that's the 13-14" loom width 😯. Thanks for the reply! I'm currently trying a smaller loom width (< 10") cause I'm petite and trying to avoid bulkiness when it's done😅.

Can you tell me where you got or how you made the red chain from? I have been looking everywhere for it
@@Darth_Melek I made it myself. I’ll be making a tutorial on how to do it coming soon

I made the rest of the fullbring cosplay on my instagram. in the video the sword is the only new part, but check out my instagram for the whole thing.

I'm sorry to hear that. Do your best!
@5:14 How did you end up with 13" of width per panels?
13 inches was the maximum loom width that they had back in the day, so I was working off of old school standards. So i've been told anyway haha

@@ammmm_4803 definitely feel free to adjust it to your size. 13 worked for me with a 32 inch waist so don't be afraid to adjust it to fit you.
hiii , ask,.... fabric name?
it's a cotton blend
Blend with what other fiber?
@@MuichiroTokitoIrl probably nylon but the fabric description didn’t say.
