It reminds me of a lot of games and anime villains. Asura's wrath final boss, frieza, janemba, cooler, buu, Bayonetta 2 final boss, DMC 5 final boss, Yoki from Kekkaishi. A sleek final form is a huge cliche but I love every second of it. Boros design was awesome.

It gives me the sensation of fighting Lucifer in his true form from Dante’s Inferno. It ends up looking like you have to beat the living shit out of some giant monster that just swivels around in place, but it turns out to be just a bound form before the the real deal cracks open the shells head and crawls out like a god level butterfly.

Ight so when I fought Homunculus beta I had no idea you were supposed to use the giant sign to knock it down, nor did I try shooting with the Arrow Legion arrow. I legit just kept dodging it and firing my gun at it until it died.
It was not fun but it worked.

I honestly don't understand the fight with Akira at the end. It doesn't really make sense to me with the "I'm the only one" dialogue, it seems like it would be counter-intuitive for Akira to fight you. You arent a clone so it just doesn't fit to me, maybe I'm just stupid and don't understand the dialogue properly, doesn't help this is another silent protagonist game (until the very end of course).

@Mr. JoJo I mean both storywise and boss mechanics are following a formula that platinum games are using since the first bayonetta: casual begining, plot twist around some of the characters ( like the little one, 9-s, Loki and now the girl in this game) , and epic boss fight agains unspeakable being ( jubileus, Loptr, Adam, and now...Noah?) The last boss is a goddmnit fusion between jubileus and temperantia.
On the matter about graphics, I see no issue at all, one of my favorite games ever is Okami, who lackluster in the graphics overall
