- This week on Addicted Life we have some awesome chinook salmon bobber downs captured on film. It's earlier this year and the salmon were just starting to enter the river. We were able to head down and film a day with Nick Popov and Big Dave! The king salmon were really moving this day and the fishing was good! We use a whole bunch of different chinook baits like bobber and eggs, jigs, sand shrimp and more! Thanks again for tuning in, we hope you enjoy this episode!

Big Dave and Popov together are a class act, I thought I was the only one that keeps his gloves on be accident after Im done fishing lol. Looks like a first bite jig, coastal special but sadly he went out of business, they are absolute chinook killers down there. Glad I stocked up! Fishing was insane after the first Fresh set of the year!!!!

Got to love Dave knows just what to do. I am not much on eating salmon,(love to catch them), Dave told me I'd like his recipe would change my mind, I didn't believe him, but I'll be damn if he was right and I enjoyed the hell out of it. My brother and I had a dream fishing trip thanks to Dave and his Family.

My mom and i use to cook salmon very similar to this, little mayo, some bacon and cheese, throw it on the grill over a little cedar fire. Its the only way my dad would eat it other than smoked.
