I watch a morning routine video everyday. I have to wake up pretty earlier for work. And watching routine videos usually puts me in a positive mood to start mine while my body wakes up. No one could stop me from chugging what feels like a gallon of water in the morning. I even keep water by my bed. Maybe it's because I live in a dry area but I am so thirsty in the morning that I don't even have to make a habit out of it. At least that's one improvement I don't need to make, but I definitely have plenty of other habits I would like to implement and these are all great ideas. 🙂
i am trying to be consistent with my physical activity, it is really hard sometimes, especially when it's cold outside. but i am getting good sleep over the past few days. it is magical to have all the morning hours for yourself!

I used to be a night owl n worked online 16hrs a day.. fast forward a few years n I now naturally wake at 4am after changing my routine to that time. It did take months of waking up at the same time before I started to do this naturally, but you can if you want to do it!lol and no,you don’t have to get up at 4am. I am awake 3 hours before my work time,to give myself my “morning time”. This time includes my workout.
I need my quiet time in the morning and coffee because both help me wake up. My breakfast is usually toast with butter and a piece of cheese or fruit or a bagel with cream cheese. Eggs, pancakes, etc. in the weekend. Oatmeal, sometimes. I need to incorporate movement this year. I always get lazy and stop.

This was a great video :) as foe breakfast, I'll have either a gf bagel with honey or avacado if they're ripe; or some yogurt with home made granola I make on Sunday as part of my weekly meal prep. I like to meal prep on Sunday as a celebration of all the good things God gave us to eat on this earth:)
@@RachelVinn for sure!! 2 cups oats 2 tbsp flax 1/4 tsp each salt, cinnamon, maple syrup or honey 1/6 cup olive oil 1 large egg white, whipped till foamy 3/4 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup each chocolate chips and sunflower seeds Combine all ingredients but the choc chips and egg white. Mix. Whip the egg white. Fold in gently. Place mixture on a cookie sheet and spread out. Cook in oven for approx 20 minutes at 350 F, stirring in between. Let cool completely and then put choc Chips on top.

Do you have any tips to just quiet the brain on those days? I am a Christ follower and working on reading the Bible in my mornings this year, but I just need help on feeling distracted/anxious during that time! Any advice is appreciated! I usually just drink chocolate protein milk in the morning and sometimes I get this special kind of yogurt that has chocolate chips and a lot of sugar added to it. Then I wonder why I’m not seeing any results in the gym when I eat like shit.

Good news pertaining to the coffee first thing! Studies have shown that your body becomes accustomed to receiving caffeine at a certain time in the morning, and learns to have no negative reactions to the sudden influx of caffeine. So everyone who says that caffeine first thing raises cortisol levels has been proven wrong. If you drink your coffee approximately the same time every day (including first thing in the morning), your body will become used to this habit, and will adjust based on this practice. So no need to adjust the time you drink your coffee!
That was a poor hand heart shape ever towards the end, gotta work on that throughout all of 2023. Start the year off with a bang and on the way to 100k. Good luck.

What works for me is waking up earlier so that I know I have at least 30 minutes of quiet time! Otherwise I feel rushed as well :/
