Great show. As soon as I start my new job in a couple of weeks, I HAVE to get these audiobooks. Thanks for the info and thanks for all of the effort and devotion that yall have obviously invested into this project, not to mention using a portion of your inheritance to assure that we get access to all of this. I am sure your parents will/would be proud to know they worked and saved for such a wonderful project. Thanks yall!
I met Dave in Liverpool in around 2008 or 9. He took several of us on a Beatles tour around Liverpool including a visit to Ringo's childhood home ( lucky for us he knew the lady who lived there 😊 ) He's a really great guy and super friendly. If you get a chance to go on a Beatles tour with him, do it, you won't be disappointed 😊. I personally have been a Beatles fan since 1963. But sadly too young to see them "live"😢 But i have visited AR Studios studio 2. And have been on the Apple rooftop twice. I have a clip on TH-cam of myself on the rooftop 😊
Wow such a long time ago! Glad that you still remember our tour, and meeting the lovely Margaret in Dmiral Grove. Sadly she died a few years ago. Lovely lady. Best wishes from Liddypool. Dave.
@@BrightmoonLiverpool One last thing. Not sure if you've ever seen this ( unbelievably 16 yrs ago 😲🫣) but it's a clip of that visit to Ringo's home, with you and Margaret. th-cam.com/video/NfaMVIbXpJ4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qoasx0lATpNUnVq2
I'd be a little nervous about visiting Liverpool and The UK. I spent a large part of my youth quoting lines from Beatle movies. There was a time long ago when I had the entire dialog from the "Yellow Submarine" movie memorized. Now when I speak to someone with a UK accent it's nearly impossible for me not to subconsciously slip into a very poor imitation of it, which they must surely find either humorous or offensive, but either way very embarrassing to me. It's not intentional, but I can't seem to stop myself.
I hope he begins these Books with "Once upon a time" - cause that`s how a fairytale starts.... and be sure - i was the biggest Beatles fan in East Germany, i had some kind of 2000 pictures of them, scattered around my living room, you could not buy any original Beatles record in east germany, you had to smuggle them in from hungaria, russia, bulgaria, even from Cuba !!! But at least they encouraged me to be a musician any way. playing with a lot of cover bands, somehow i was doomed to be the drummer: i had no problem with it, since this was my favorite instrument anyways, But it came out more and more, that Ringo was not the super Drummer, like his FANBOYS want him to be ....🤗

Jude is a wonderful writer and researcher and this audiobook is incredible. You will love it!
Love Jude’s books. They’re hard to jump in on since you can’t buy the actual books for less than $200
They sell out so quickly which is a shame.
