My problem is I either don't want to get rid of it because I think I could alter it or style it in a way that makes me like it or, if I got rid of everything in my closet that doesn't spark joy, I'd have no more clothes.
I like the Maria Kondo method but my brain is way too changeable. I always have different style phases I cycle through, and I know that even if I hate a certain piece of clothing now, it’s pretty guaranteed that in a year or so I’ll be wearing it daily xD Also I just HATE buying clothes and the idea of having to buy something I threw out before is just -_-
Chloe then buy clothes that spark joy! when you're shopping in a mall or something, check every store and see what you like and what you think you will actually stick with. If you think something doesn't spark joy or doesn't have a reason to be in your possession, then just get rid of it. if you feel like you can't then keep it for a while to think if you should throw it away or not

I cleaned out my closet just yesterday, and it felt so mentally liberating! I'm currently listening to the audiobook about Marie Kondo's method again and it helps so much to get a clearer mind and be less guilty about getting rid of stuff 💜
I have and wear clothes from 15 years ago! Plus clothes from my mother, and stuff my grandma made in the 50s. I never get rid of clothes, otherwise if I need it in the future I won't have it. At most if I don't wanna wear it out they become pajamas, house clothes, gym clothes and at last cosplay/sewing supplies.
