Great work sir. I have noticed oil drops dripping from the clutch lever and sometimes engaging the gear is hard. What can be a the possible solution? Would changing the master clutch cylinder be a better option? Mechanic said it might need a complete clutch plate replacement. Thank you sir, please reply
This need to be done by step by step & do trial run after each step 1) Check clutch hose connection for any leakages - rectify it first 2) Change Master Clutch cylinder )since it already leaking) & take trial 3) Change Slave cylinder if problem not solved by 2 nd options During this step changing clutch disk also suggested since you are already doing a heavy job of gearbox removal to save next separate labour charge for clutch disk replacement on the way.
@@PassionateTrainer Great analysis sir. Taken it to mechanic and he suggested me to change the clutch plates. Got them replaced. I have replaced clutch master cylinder, clutch plates,release bearing, and clutch hose.The labour cost was same so got all the parts replaced. The problem is resolved. Now the clutch feels new and my mind is at ease without worrying too much about the driving the car. Thank you for the wonderful analysis again.
Boss, I own ford ikontdci, it's clutch padel is hard, but clutch seems okk, becoz on lower gear, pessing pedal plates didnt slips with flywheel. What to check. Genuinely 1.2lac kms driven.
My figo is 2012 model Diesel, travelled 125000 km. Sometime it takes jerk while lowering gear or upgrading gear. Should I get replace clutch on this observation solely . I don't fill any slippage of clutch .
Hello sir. I came across your TH-cam channel when I was looking for information regarding my Chevrolet Cruze clutch failure. The clutch completely sinks to the ground and doesn't come back up. Gears cannot be engaged when the engine is running even after completely depressing the clutch pedal. I'm not sure whether it is a clutch master cylinder failure or sleeve cylinder failure. Cruze has the hydraulic clutch system similar to the Figo which you described in your videos. What in your opinion is the culprit? Master cylinder near clutch pedal or Sleeve cylinder in the clutch housing ?
@@sowgandhbellam7459 so first do check for leakage on entire clutch pipelines, if ok then change Master Cylinder with new one & bleed air and check it's getting solved or not, if not proceed to replace Slave cylinder. Cost of spare almost same, but labour will be high for slave, so fist start with Master!!!
For bleeding, connect a small hose in to salve cylinder bleeding screw and dip one end of the hose in to a small jar with brake fluid. Pump pedal repeatedly, (don't alow master cylinder to become empty- keep fillling)... Repeat the process till you see bubble free oil coming through the hose..

What is the KMs driven ??? and have you changed Master cylinder so far?
@@PassionateTrainer 1,36,000 Kms done. Never changed any cylinder. Although clutch plate and pressure plate were changed at 112000 Kms mark.
