If notice most ppl take the food with two hands stretched out. This is gesture for when your receiving a blessing or donation. When we get food from a mandir or gurdwara we have to accept it with two hands. Thats the thank u

No dear in our sikh community we do social service like free food as per our GURU's, duty given to us... Its not about thanks or no thanks its only about your feelings In Amritsar Golden temple 50000 to 100000 people are served free food (Langar) on daily basis..... As i already told its as a duty to us which we take as a blessing 🙂
