- okay so if your fuses are good if your resistor is good then your blower motor is bad
there is 5 7mm bolts that you take out to remove the motor unclip the purple and black wire from the motor and pull it out
stay tuned for part two should be coming out next when I get the new Motor In

Watching your video I just found out that my AC in my truck is Hammer started. Seriously you just save me a whole lot of troubleshooting in parts I peel back that plastic cover tapped it with my ratchet and the motor turned on. So my AC is now ratchet started until I muster the cash to buy another one. Percussive maintenance for the win.
🤣🤣🤣 that's awesome, man. I'm glad I could help.
Thanks for the troubleshooting! I'm going to get this done today.
I can't remember if I mentioned it in the video or not but my blower motor was actually bad lol
That was too damn funny I loved it

Thanks man my blower started making that same whirling sound, time for a new blower, but thanks to you I don't have to tear it apart till get blower👍💯
That's what I'm here for. I'm glad I could help.

Yo so I got new motor and new switches, tested new motor still not turning on..but the heat would turn on when I reached a certain speed while driving…what should I do/check to figure out what I need to fix this for the winter weather?
Check your ground wire it might be loose
Is this guy certified?😂😂😂
TH-cam certified
Might need a bigger hammer! LoL
Relay is supposed to click, it's the internal switch closing.
Should have tested it before wasting money.
After that, the motor is probably the next to test.
Any fan making that noise is going out. The bearing is what you hear squawking!!
Love the ending!
I ended up replacing the motor it works really good now LOL
How did you get that too right screw out? I’m having trouble
I used a small socket to loosen it than my fingers to get it out it was a B
So my relay is good, replaced fan switch on the dash, still no. So I replaced fan blowier switch still no go, continuity at the fan blower motor, so old one is still good, could my circuit board be bad? Any ideas? I used test switch from O’ Reilly’s and engaged the compressor, fuse at Fan Blower good, Sometimes if the fan switch is on HIGH the fan will turn on once in in a great while, but with new switch same ole not working any ideas would be appreciated 1997 Silverado k1500
When I was troubleshooting my blower motor I ended up replacing the relay that's in the dash Behind the glow box it's a pain to get to. I also replaced the circuit board. Mine turned out to be a bad blower motor and a bad Is circuit board. Hope that helps
Thank you for info on relay behind glove compartment that fixed it!!! Thank You!!
That's a relay
The blower was bad lol
Get the Hamster out let it run the Wheel lol
I might just have to 😂😂
That is totally a relay, 😂 not the resistor 😂
😂😂😂ops
You'd be better off eating turkey and letting someone else work on the truck.
No thanks.
Wrong on so many levels.
The intro tells all.
Imagine talking 💩 and your name is Patrick 😂😂🤢
@Germanmuscle I appreciate the video. 😊
It's not a damn Silverado
Yes, it is. Please educate yourself.
@Germanmuscle maybe you should educate yourself.. Silverado didn't start till 99, these are the c/k1500 series
@jasonsanchez128 There's no way you are this dense. You do know that google is free, right? you can literally get a free education.
Have you Googled? I doubt it or you'd know you're wrong
