This is just beautiful! I really enjoyed the music and the birds too. Makes me long for spring. The purple finch is the NH state bird :) I have so many bird reference photos saved on Pinterest because I've been wanting to try painting a bird. You have inspired me to give it a try. Thank you for sharing!
Oh wow! I'm so happy that I inspired you! I'd love to see your painting when you're done! Birds are so fun to paint! I started out by being very loose and not worrying about the details (so I didn't feel overwhelmed). Then as I got more used to them I started adding some details. Have fun!
Very nice! I just got started in Alcohol Inks. There's a real learning curve. I'm not used to going over something so much after I like it because the line moves! LOL. Better for practice I suppose. Your stenciling for the background is a neat idea. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks!!! The good thing about alcohol inks is the ability to wipe out and fix issues, (I am also a watercolor artist, and you can't do that with wc)...the problem with ai sometimes is they "wipe out" when you don't want them to. LOL..takes practice for sure, but, oh so fun!
Beautiful.
Beautifully done and inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing.
