Ooh, you just reminded me that I need to check Maplelea's website. There were a few things I wanted to get but I was at the max of my annual budget in December so I had to wait lol. New Year, new budget. Time to shop 🙂
I love the buffalo plaid boots, so cute!! The caring for baby cat sleeper, is stinking adorable. So many wonderful pieces.

Thanks! You know, there is a part of me that's very acutely aware of the homophobia in AG's customer base (I present as evidence countless hysterical moms losing their crap over Kira having queer aunts). But also I'm acutely aware that life is WAY too short to avoid being who you naturally are in the hopes appeasing bigoted people so that they'll subscribe to my channel . 🤷♀Glad you're here, and I hope you enjoy the videos! :-)
These were great pieces and awesome outfits - but my main take away from this is that you and your wife should sell some AG jewellery! Just think, it could help fund future hauls!
Oh, thank you so much! I've done earrings for a while (and have a tutorial filmed that I'll post sometime soonish) but I just made some necklaces for the last time about a week ago. I LOVE how they've turned out :-)

Yeah, those boots are so detailed and well-made. And from what I know it's a great company. They sell an "Every Child Matters" shirt for Orange Shirt Day and $3 from every $10 shirt is donated to the Orange Shirt Society to support their work with Residential school reconciliation.

I like all of the clothing. My favorite is the flowered dress with bell sleeves and elastic in chest area. Then I like the red plaid outfit. I also make beaded bracelets, but they are amateurish.
Thanks! I don't know if I can pick a favorite, but I do really love that plaid shirt outfit so that's at least a strong contender. And regardless of how "professional" they look, I think making jewelry is fun and that's half the point for me. Do you use elastic thread?
@@agtakesover I use plastic cord. But, I think I need to use elastic, so that it’s more durable.

Thanks! I'm constantly amazed by (and grateful for) all the talented people in this community. No offense to AG, but the clothes some of these Etsy sellers make are a) superior quality, plain and simple, and b) the kind of more neutral options a lot of us adult collectors want.

Ivy looks amazing! I thought for sure you would put the Maplelea boots on the with matching top. But maybe that would be too much? Everyone looks great! Lovely finds. Oh, and that baby. :) Precious. Thanks for sharing!
With black leggings I totally would've paired the boots with that top, but I wasn't sure about the boots with that skirt.
@@agtakesover Ah, yes, that makes sense. I don't have the fashion sense that you do, which is why I normally stick with original AG clothes. :) But those boots are pretty adorable, especially the maple leaves on the bottoms.

@@ninoskaramos770 They're regular American Girl doll earrings. Sometimes people sell them in a lot on Facebook marketplace or eBay.
Teeny tiny pens would fit in the pockets. Like AG’s doll pens/ pencils. Those would fit, right?

Do the boots fit American Girl dolls?
Yep! I just put them on the nearest doll I could reach to be 100% sure. They fit just fine (though she looks a bit ridiculous in those boots and a Halloween hoodie dress lol)
