I discovered this place in 1982 by kind waiters in our hotel in Marmaris who were from Dalyan. When we went there together their families gave us such a warm welcome I never had before at Mediterranean coasts! 😮 After we had seen the beautiful beach we decided to make it to our "second home" of the heart - and to take Turkish lessons in Germany. The small village without any tourist junk has grown to a small town - but it is still worlds apart from the "concrete coasts" of Antalya, Alanya and Side. 👍👍👍
Oh that’s great to hear! The Iztuzu beach is definitely mind blowing especially the turtles!🐢 furthermore, we totally agree with you about the difference of Dalyan. It is still something else then other tourism destinations. On Sunday we will upload a night walk of Dalyan. I hope you will enjoy it!

Used to go there in the 80s mud paths no hotels it was amazing horrible now
I only remember the early 2000s, it is all different from then. I can not even imagine how horrible is the change for you! Really sad…
