      You need to develop strength and control in your affected joints. It's not always easy or simple, but if you're careful and methodical, you can still do a lot.

    More of this please! I have EDS and I'm hypermobile in so many areas. I've been dealing with SI joint instability and Osteitis pubis for years and would love to know how to heal up for good

    What do you recommended for planche progression exercises? Keep straight elbow or locked in hyperextension?

      ​@@gmbfityes, it says to lock elbows. But in this videos the second point is to keep soft elbow. So do you keep soft elbow in all exercises, unless it is said explicitly to lock elbows?

    When in a plank position and have hypermobility, do you push in inside of your elbows forward or rotate them inwards?

      Rotate, but don’t push. You wanna keep them “straight” and soft. Learning to rotate while doing so builds your control over the joint in this range of motion.

    i have hyper mobility, however i also do karzotski kicking regularly, the 1st step does not sit fondly with me

    I have EDS but I’m not as hyper mobile as I was when I was a child and a teenager, but could some of these be done on a bed or couch as I can’t get down onto the floor not without help getting back up.

    I've had elbow injuries in the past from wrestling and bjj and didn't think there was much I could with my hypermobile elbows. But I've been training planche very slowly and I feel like straight arm work was the missing piece when it comes to injury prevention. Now I got a solid crane and working on the tuck planche.

      It means your joints can extend beyond "straight" - if you don't know and have never had trouble, you're probably fine.
