Agreed. If she weren't even on the build, the colors are epic. I think the Hyperion looks stunning and people would be interested even without Asuka (though they'd have to lower the cost to at least be in line with their Moonlight White products). Nice to hear from you again! (Funny enough I did end up getting a black and gold S-Frame BTW. Though I was jebaited 😭 I thought it was a black and red one. Probably going to sandblast it now to raw aluminum).
@@KohaisCollection You know, you could’ve message me and gave you mine. I never ended up selling mine. Not a huge Evangelion kind of person. Just did an all white PC in a Lian Li Lancool Mesh2 case. Just ordered an Evangelion 8 inch Figure because even white needs color, and the vibrant red will stand out. Plenty of room between the front fans and the Vertical mounted 3 fan GPU. And to think all I was looking for was an ARGB extension cable for the top fans and She just popped up on Amazon, that is how my last build started, just needed a USB3 24 inch cable to plug things in and ordered a ASUS gt case that popped up with free shipping, So that system is built and waiting for a desktop switch. So now I have my desktop, and 2 spare PC's 😊😊I seem to have an issue, been doing this since 1995 for me for others.
Yeah, computers are definitely a "problem" here too 😁 Especially when it comes to storing all my cases, watercooling gear, and surplus of peripherals and important boxes. That's awesome though. The solace of red/orange will look awesome against white 😎 and you can tie it into the RGB lighting too

To finish the project though, I just need approval from ASUS that they'll share the project so I can get the last of what I need.
I have an RTX 4080 ROG Strix and I bought this 1000W Evangelion Edition power supply. Question: Which cable should I use? the cable that comes with the power supply (PCI-e 16-pin, 2 x 8-pin) OOOR, my usual PCI-e cablemod from 16 pins to 3 x 8 pins and why? If the RTX 4090 needs 4x8 pins why does the psu came with a 2 x8 pin cable? I DON'T GET IT! Please HELP!!!
Hey! Happy to help. I know it can get confusing. Assuming your CableMod cable is either an extension, or direct replacement cable for the ROG Thor PSU, then you can use either cable without issue 🙂 so if you like the look of your CableMod cables like me, then use that. Here's the breakdown: 4080 has a TDP of 320W 4090 has a base TDP of 450W (some with 600W) A PCI slot can provide 75W of power. An 8 pin connector can provide 150W. So dual 8pins + PCI can deliver up to 375W of power, which is safe for your 4080. A 4090 will need at least 3x 8pins because 375W is below base TDP of 450W. So 3x 8pins plus PCI can deliver 525W. Using a 16pin to 3x8pin adapter for your 4080 is fine, because 525W is more than your 320W TDP and the card will only consume the watts it needs. It's not getting "force fed" 525W. CableMod and companies like to use the 16pin to 4x 8pin as it lowers the current traveling across each cable, reducing heat build up, which you know has been a problem for these connectors. TECHNICALLY, by specifications, 8pins actually have the wire gauge to deliver 300W each, which is why you may see 16pin 12vhpwr cables only have dual 8 pins 🙂 so I understand why it gets tricky.
@@KohaisCollection BRO THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! THANK YOU!! You have my like and subscription!! One last question. What do you think about Lian Li cables are safe? @@foxcmclaud Lian Li is very reputable. You shouldn't have issues with using an extension from them. I'd only worry if it was a 4090 due to power draw.
I completely understand. I too am a fanboy and I have mixed feelings. On one hand, as stated in the video, we have to expect an increase in price due to licensing fees and retooling production to create these variants. So on one hand, if we want collabs, we have to expect the increased costs. On the other hand ...damn it's expensive. It's quite the tax for EVA gear. Agreed. It took almost two months to gather what I have and I'm still missing the keyboard. But we are lucky to have a microcenter near by.
