Thanks for making this video! After watching, I booked Cherry and stayed there this past week! Great, quiet, beautiful, clean! Glad I booked a lean to because as you know, September in New England is rainey! I drove the Scenic byway Vt. 100! It was a fantastic drive!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I would love to go back again and get onto the water with my kayak. I hope to do that drive soon too. Thanks for sharing your positive experience.
Always enjoy watching your videos. The background music is always low in volume and stays subtle in the background, unlike most other channels videos. Great job and keep it coming! 👍
My wife and i have discovered your channel and love it. Always look forward to your videos. VERY well made and to places I stay at while hiking in the north east
Excellent question. October 17th is the date on my photos. Not sure if I was there also the 16th or 18th. I recall that was the trip where I had to change my dates last minute because I messed up the foliage timing and it was all turning color much sooner than I expected. Vermont turns early! I now aim for the first week in October.
The site we had was tucked in but it depends on the dog. I felt I was on alert the whole time because my dog would love to go crazy and run and chase other dogs. So unless nobody books right near you, it's not that much freedom in the dog world. If you call them, they will try to get you the most seclusion they can, because they can see which sites are booked, etc.
The lean to sites are rather close. It seems they angle each one so you aren't looking directly at the next group over. But there were a couple happy folks at one and their voices carried easily across several other sites. Still, the beauty of the view is probably worth the neighbor factor if they aren't too noisy. Also you might get a lucky empty spot some days because people book them so far in advance and then decide not to show up.
Surprisingly underrated production, 10/10
Been there! It is truly a great camp ground! Reservoir is beautiful for kayaking and the trails within the grounds are fantastic! much history there.
Yes, great place. I would go again. And there are so many other attractions in the area. My favorite memory is the geese flying overhead.
Lov the video.
Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful! My wife and I live in New Hampshire and are always looking for new places to explore .
Thanks. Yes, it is a cool place. All the Vermont State Parks are impressive and well maintained.
Great campground, going this summer

@@RachelWhelton it’s a great drive! If you head back that way again, driving thru Smugglers Notch is a must!

❤❤❤
Beautiful! Would you say this place has sites that are far away from others ? I'd like to bring my dog and would rather have some space for him

How much a night does it cost to stay there ??
Thank you
Check their website for current prices but I think I paid around 22 dollars per night. Might be higher for an RV spot - not sure.
Great video looks a fantastic park! Can’t believe those water views, are the lean to sites close together or is there a bit of space between them?

What time of year was this?
Also great video. I'm from Virginia but doing a road trip that will take me through Vermont. Your video helped me decide to stay at Little River.
October 17th. Best to go a bit earlier than that for Fall leaves because they change from the end of September!
Bernie Sanders helped clean up the state and as mayor clean up the water front
Dude I live on the road to get there im in a red house
Did you know that in Vermont they have three parties and they don't gerrymander the state like alot of other states they believe in democracy
