Really appreciate the campground tours. We like our solitude as well, so when you point out how close the neighbors are, it's really helpful. At the same time, we often camp with friends who stay on adjacent sites, so sometimes we want to be close to our neighbors! Video guides such as this, while not as exciting, are powerful research aids showing not only what each site looks like, but you also give us the 'lay of the land' - something often hard to discern from static campground photos. Again, thank you very much!
Thank you, very informative. I camped there years ago and have a trip planned in September and wanted to know more about Daisy lean to and found this very helpful.
Glad it was helpful! I was thinking of going there again soon and watched my own video to try and remember which site had the easier "put-in" for the kayak. I think that particular campground is a very good balance of all the things - not too big, not too small, for example.
Thanks. Yes, those tiny pictures are tough. I have tried enlarging them but it's just too hard to tell the vibe of the place without seeing the 360 view.
Really AWESOME Campground review .... I LOVE the tree-line buffers between each site .... and those pond sites look really COOL 👌👍👍👍 "Thank You" for posting these !!
Great tour of the campground. When you walked down to the water's edge at the Daisy lean-to site and said "Wow", that got me super excited for our trip next summer 2024. We were lucky to get that same site and can't wait for it! It looks amazing!
I camped a lot up in Vermont mostly in the Northeast Kingdom. Good thing to point out to your viewers is what side the fire pit is on for those that have back in trailers. I know it is on Vt State Campground site but just a good thing to point out for those who just might go there. Thanks for the views.
@@RachelWhelton Most all of your entrances are on the left side facing the camper from the front. So knowing where the fire pit is helps. You don’t want a site with the fire pit on the other side of your travel trailer’s entrance or in some cases behind it. I had a few sites where the fire pit wasn’t mentioned on the web site and the pit was behind the trailer or on the other side. Good thing to mention is how well kept those Vermont state campgrounds are maintained. And the showers cost 50 cents and quarters only. So keep some quarters handy and in your shower bag. Thanks again
Good question. I am trying to remember and my guess is they were all a standard size. I think your tent would fit but this is just my guess. Often the roof is slanted also.
Thanks for showing the sites!
You're welcome. I'm glad it was helpful.

Thank you for the kind comment. I look forward to doing more campground tours this year!

Great campground tour. Definitely adding to my trip list.
Great tour! Much better than the tiny pictures they have on the reservation site :)

Thank you so much 🤗
Thank you for this walking tour. It is so helpful in planning an upcoming trip. Ricker State will definitely be on my summer list for a solo retreat.
Thanks and have a wonderful trip.

Awesome! I hope it lives up to expectations. It was nice and I'd definitely go again to this place.
I've seen a few of your videos and I really like them so you now have a new subscriber. Your videos are very helpful... Thank you! 👍😁

Good tip. I often wonder what information I am overlooking for not knowing about trailers and camper vans, etc.

Are all the lean tos the same size? We are booked for summer of 2024 and im trying to figure out the biggest tent i might fit in. I have a 10 x 8.5

7/23 how is Knox Mountain? How close are the bathrooms?
The bathrooms were close. As for Knox Mountain, I only went up that one short trail but the area was beautiful.
