I literally just had these tonight for the first time and these are AMAZING! I’ve always wanted a chip that had a REAL bite and happened to see these on the shelf at Walgreens, so I bought them. I ate the first one and got that same look on my face. That oooh these are Something! As I continued eating and scarfed down a few more and felt myself having to slow down😂 The Heat was actually getting to me! Have never had a snack food actually get to me. Aside from that, the flavor is actually delicious with that authentic flavor. Honestly, the absolute best hot chip I’ve ever had. Going to have to hunt a few more bags down ASAP
3 years later & I just stumbled upon these at my local Drug Emporium. I love them! SPICY enough for people who like some heat. Great flavor. I'm happy. I didn't even realize the brand until I got them home and was eating them... I was like.. "wait a minute...aren't these the same brand as the challenge chip?". Gotta go back for the other varieties they had now. Mrs. Renfro's ghost pepper salsa would be a nice pairing. Love it!
I love these chips. I'm not even a big spice guy. I could never do superhots or even a ghost pepper on its own. These chips, though. They're amazing. I'm eating a bag of them right now. The flavor is great and the heat is intense but it's oddly enjoyable. It's a slow burn that kind of builds but hits all the endorphins without causing extreme pain.
I bought these as a snack after class assuming they wouldn’t be so hot, my mouth began burning after 4 chips. I thought they would be like mediocre but they were actually spicy!!

These definitely have comparable heat to eating a ghost pepper chopped in something. They are REALLY good chips. The stomach warmth is equivalent to ghost peppers. When you eat the seasoning out of the bottom of the bag you can taste that signature ghost pepper flavor.
When Johnny flashed that mischievous smile after those first few chips, I laughed and smiled right along with him! I just found a bag of these at a 'grocery outlet' store for two bucks, and they're seriously hot to me, but in a good way. Paqui has five heat levels of chips, and I the only other one they had besides 'Haunted Ghost Pepper' (five out of five) was 'Jalapeno Tropicale' (three out of five). Those were seriously tasty, but as I got used to the Ghost Pepper ones, they were a little too mild. I'd love to find the 'Fiery Chile Limon' which is four out of five, those might be just perfect for me. Anyway, another great review by the Master of Heat, Johnny Scoville. Absolutely love these chips. They are hot enough that I feel the burn really well, and that's saying something, because I've got a pretty high spicy tolerance.
I love eating these like you said they are spicy but not insanely hot like I eat a whole bag and I'm ok. Also they see addictive not sure if it is the smokey flavor or the little bit of a rush it gives

Just bought a bag, I'm very new to the world of heat, these were good ate a couple not tooo severe, spicy for sure, i psyched myself up pretty good, i find it's a mind game, relax, and enjoy the burn. I think i can survive the one chip challenge haha
I tried these for the first time at the beginning of a long road trip. They kept me way more alert than caffeine. New favorite road companion. I had to be careful because the heat buildup is slow at first but then boom! Oh and don’t accidentally wipe your eyes after eating some. 🥵
I got 2 bags of those today. They are NOT melt your face off by any means but they do have a considerably more amount of heat than Doritos Blaze. Our local has station has Uncle Ray's brand. Their Hot has a fair amount of heat to them. I'd love to use these as a base for some homemade pulled pork nachos.
My favorite chip used to be Blair's Death Rain, but I can no longer find them around here and have to order online. While that is no problem, since I've discovered Paqui...it is just so much easier to go to the store and get a pack or two of them. The burn between the two is very close and they are readily available, so that probably makes this my new favorite chip.

I crush these and use them to crust chicken breasts using a Sriracha aioli as the binder. Even better if you marinade the chicken in a sambal mixture. Flavor explosion.
To be honest, the flavor of these chips is great! The first time I had them they were hot.Now I have been having them on a regular basis, I don't find them that hot!Excellent chip to just pick up from a gas station and snack on to get your hot food fix!
I tried these months ago and found them excessively spicy. I was done after one chip, because it took me by surprise. I'm really sensitive to pain and spicyness, so the up and down ride took like 5 minutes. I'm eating a bag of them right now I got from Walgreens, but it says NEW! in yellow on the top left, and while still as tasty as before, I don't find them as punishing. I'm eating them like regular chips even if my forehead is sweating. They taste so good! The heat is worth it. Only thing I dislike is how it stings when swallowing, hah!

Just grabbed myself a bag from my local 7-eleven. My top 1 spicy chip. I would eat Takis and Hot Cheetos but got bored of the artificial flavors. These Paqui Haunted Ghost Peppers pack the flavor and the heat. The first 5 chips are fine, but the more you eat, the spicier it gets. I like how I could feel a puff of spicy powder Go up my nose every time I bit on a chip. It felt like I was sniffing up pepper. These are my current go-to spicy chips. To me they taste more like tortilla chips than potato chips.

Finally just tried these and u can actually get quite a bit of heat in these but not really something that says ghost pepper to me. I would definitely keep these as a fave though so I hope my outlet keeps them. Gonna eat some with renfros ghost pepper salsa here soon. I appreciate the honest review. I love ghost pepper flavor. My favorite wings of all time are the Ghost Pepper wings from Popeys. It's a shame they don't sell them all year round. Soo i found these a while back at my local store Sprouts and fell in love with them, use to buy hot cheetos xxx but not hot enough for me they were sold out at sprouts so i went to Whole foods and found a whole stack of them good thing i live near both stores gotta have my CHILI FIX....Paqui FTW if you guys need Ghost peppers raw they sell them at Sprouts IDK about whole foods but sprouts carries them fresh from sweden i think I THINK....

I buy these by the case!!!! Best chip on earth IMO . I bought the ghost pepper cheese from Trader Joe’s and I’ve had pepper jack with more heat plus it got moldy in 3 days. They need to stick to groceries !!!!! Great review and your honesty is why we watch👍🏻💪🏻

I didn't think I had a decent tolerance for hot foods at all but what Paqui has done here is very good. This might be the best and most tasty hot food I have tried in a long while. It isn't just hot to be hot, but the chips have good flavor and are very good to eat (and they are gluten-free on top of all that)! I'm glad I found this channel and I'm happy for this video. Kudos to you, Mr. Scoville. :)
These chips are great. You can find them at Wal-Mart. To an average schmuck like me, I can eat about 3 before I really feel the burn. I don't think I will try the Caroline Reaper Paqui, until I can get a few more years of building up my tolerance.
This is a great corn chip! I have eaten the one chip challenge and these after. There is zero comparison. The one chip challenge is by far hotter so please do not attempt the challenge if one of these is almost too much. Johnny you’re the man, you would crush the one chip challenge🤘🏻
Don't know if you tried them lately, but I picked up bag last week and think they're pretty good. I can munch on these and yeah, they are a bit hot, but doable. Not a single challenge chip for sure, but hotter than most things you find in the chip aisle. Funny thing is that most people at work I had try them could only deal with a single chip, ...if that! I guess my tolerance is up. Bottom line is that 80% of the people I gave these to stopped at one chip, or just a nibble. My true chili-head friends could eat more. It took me about 30 seconds to feel any burn while others felt it right away.

Just grabbed myself a bag from my local 7-eleven. My top 1 spicy chip.
I would eat Takis and Hot Cheetos but got bored of the artificial flavors.
These Paqui Haunted Ghost Peppers pack the flavor and the heat. The first 5 chips are fine, but the more you eat, the spicier it gets. I like how I could feel a puff of spicy powder Go up my nose every time I bit on a chip. It felt like I was sniffing up pepper.
These are my current go-to spicy chips. To me they taste more like tortilla chips than potato chips.
I'm eating these right now as i'm watching this, i got from Wal-Mart, it kicks in pretty quick

He is 100% right. I Love spicey/hot foods and chips. Actually picked up ghost pepper wing sauce at my local Walmart I think it's the first time they've stocked up , but I use the sauce on almost all my foods.
Bought a bag of ghost pepper chips I think in almost 24 hours or less I ate the whole bag, they are hot but I loved them. Couldn't get another bag cause they were taken off shelves at my Walmart. But whatever
I love those Paqui chips Johnny! I keep a bag of those on hand at all times. The Salsa Verde are great too.

Briana Green The Salsa Verde chips aren’t spicy, but they do have a little kick. The flavor is fantastic though.
Finally just tried these and u can actually get quite a bit of heat in these but not really something that says ghost pepper to me. I would definitely keep these as a fave though so I hope my outlet keeps them. Gonna eat some with renfros ghost pepper salsa here soon. (Gotta be careful though, pregnant and dont want reflux all night).

I appreciate the honest review. I love ghost pepper flavor. My favorite wings of all time are the Ghost Pepper wings from Popeys. It's a shame they don't sell them all year round. I'm getting hungry just thinking about the next time I'm able to get them. Come on Popeys. Keep the ghost pepper wings on the menu.

Soo i found these a while back at my local store Sprouts and fell in love with them, use to buy hot cheetos xxx but not hot enough for me they were sold out at sprouts so i went to Whole foods and found a whole stack of them good thing i live near both stores gotta have my CHILI FIX....Paqui FTW if you guys need Ghost peppers raw they sell them at Sprouts IDK about whole foods but sprouts carries them fresh from sweden i think I THINK....

I went to Walmart and there was only ONE bag left.. it took me 2 days but I finished the whole bag (minus the broken crunchies on the bottom)... Lol.... I wanted to do the ONE CHIP CHALLENGE but it's sold out😞 and I could NEVER be nutty enough to pay what (SOME) of the nut balls are selling them for on the internet... I like watching your videos... Entertaining.. ✌🌸👊
I buy these by the case!!!! Best chip on earth IMO . I bought the ghost pepper cheese from Trader Joe’s and I’ve had pepper jack with more heat plus it got moldy in 3 days. They need to stick to groceries !!!!! Great review and your honesty is why we watch👍🏻💪🏻
Subscribed to you! Also, thank to your video, I went out and tracked these down and they are quite good. I didn't think I had a decent tolerance for hot foods at all but what Paqui has done here is very good. This might be the best and most tasty hot food I have tried in a long while. It isn't just hot to be hot, but the chips have good flavor and are very good to eat (and they are gluten-free on top of all that)! I'm glad I found this channel and I'm happy for this video. Kudos to you, Mr. Scoville. :)
These chips are great. You can find them at Wal-Mart. To an average schmuck like me, I can eat about 3 before I really feel the burn. I don't think I will try the Caroline Reaper Paqui, until I can get a few more years of building up my tolerance.
This is a great corn chip! I have eaten the one chip challenge and these after. There is zero comparison. The one chip challenge is by far hotter so please do not attempt the challenge if one of these is almost too much. Johnny you’re the man, you would crush the one chip challenge🤘🏻

Don't know if you tried them lately, but I picked up bag last week and think they're pretty good. I can munch on these and yeah, they are a bit hot, but doable. Not a single challenge chip for sure, but hotter than most things you find in the chip aisle. Funny thing is that most people at work I had try them could only deal with a single chip, ...if that! I guess my tolerance is up. Bottom line is that 80% of the people I gave these to stopped at one chip, or just a nibble. My true chili-head friends could eat more. It took me about 30 seconds to feel any burn while others felt it right away.
I love these chips! I get them all the time from the local 7 11. Definitely bearable to enjoy the whole bag for spice lovers!
