A point to consider for people unfamiliar with tile roofs is that you will come across tiles that are clipped or in older roofs nailed at the very top, these take a bit more patience especially the nailed into hardwood batons ones! So take a flathead screwdriver, hammer small prybar and even some small blocks of wood as wedges with you😊

Which has convinced me to use a silicone quick fix instead as I can see the problem getting worse with my not-very-good DIY skills!

You can use a good quality roof and gutter silicone but over time it will fail. May get you out of trouble for a few years 👍👍👍

Any advice for someone using a roof anchor and harness? What if the tiles are nailed down every row? Just trying to find the easiest way to get to the truss for a roof anchor point without disturbibf the tiles too much or playing around with replacing tiles etc

    • @TheRealMrCods

@@billshowto On the back of the tiles is a little loop you put the wire through and you wire it to the timber beams holding the roof up. I guess Its not normal lol, But hey the tiles will never fall off on their own

In some cases, if the roof tile is cracked, can you just seal it up with an appropriate silicone?

Bro your very good at everything you should make your videos longer around 10 15 minutes and time stamps for people that wanna rush through the vid, and things change in material so going over things after a year is good to keep things fresh and live :) love your help and want to see you grow more
