I used to be, but then there is not many good historical dramas anymore. If you like fantasy/ historical I can recommend you some. There is also some good modern ones that got me into moderan dramas. I myself like high school and teen romance in the modern drama genre.

These Chinese historical dramas are wonderful! They are beautifully done - thoughtful, deeply engaging. Really good acting performances. Bravo! If you binge-watch these films, you may well find yourself drawn into a very different time, a very different mindset - a profoundly different experience. In a sense, you become a time traveler. In comparison, these Chinese historical dramas make contemporary films seem drab, banal, and unworthy of attention.
You dont know my condition.....actually at first the number of my glasses was 0.5 so than I used to avoid wearing glasses becuz 0.5 is not that much.....but suddenly than my number has increased to 1 and 2.5.....I am literally very much worried about my eyes....and this all happened because I dont sleep early and while watching anything on mobile I dont wear my specs....

Ha! Demi Gods & Semi Devils was my first C-Drama too! Followed that up with Eternal Love & Eternal Love Dream. Then The Long Ballad & Novoland: Pearl Eclipse (a heart breaker). Just watched some lighter romantic comedies like - Royal Rumours, A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College, Truth or Dare, & The Lady from the Butchers House. Sweet love stories too - my favorites - A New Life Begins & The Imperial Coroner (mystery & political intrigue). Really like the 'historic' costume dramas - but did enjoy My Heroic Husband, To Get Her & Be My Princess which are modern based.

I was totally hooked on this 6th century saga of how the allies of two evil, but powerful, characters wreak havoc in everything from the family, right into the seat of government and into relations between nation states. Kuvvet karazehir well it’s sinicized so I skip this film but the dugu clan are of xianbei origins. The beginning the northern wei emperor is of tuoba origin. And yu wen tai is of xianbei origin as well it set the foundation for tang.
Kuvvet karazehir I won’t watch this film though. Cao cao film and romance and three kingdoms are better ones and more historical. This is one of those Chinese drama done for costumes and women

Northern wei and the guan long group with the six town frontiers were the elite group that yu wen tai and dugu. Including sui and tang came from. It consist out of Xiongnu and xianbei. Turkic and mongols plus Han Chinese defending northern wei. As i Said film shows more for women. Beautiful costumes and palace stuff. Meant to show off. Qin empire film is also a good historical one with a rare actors
Kuvvet karazehir turkey is releasing a destan film about the gokturks but most of costume is ottoman. The costume for Tiele would definitely look Chinese with dragon patterns in this period. Didn’t get to see it yet
I love to watch such lovely historical tales ..I think the actors directors should be awarded...because such series are so very well planned, with well-designed costumes.....and it is series....Lot of hard work can be seen..its not just 3 hours show....They need to be awarded. Before i love to watch kdrama and so adicted but now i was so amaze with cdrama bc of amazing fantasy drama they are all interesting to watch especially with there customes and the nature..there all beautiful also i admired the actor and actress there so very talented and skills they are all amazing..but my fav the most is ashes of love it was so interesting and yet you can feel the true meaning of love,frendship,and especially to forgive someone that cause your pain.

Thank you for the English sub. i was able to enjoy another good Chinese drama about the lives of three sisters, two well rounded & one spolied, rotten sister. The choices they made or shove on their lives which would affect how they lived. Great acting of Ady An & Jeremy Jones. Love the costumes & sceneries. Worth watching....

Kuvvet karazehir well it’s sinicized so I skip this film but the dugu clan are of xianbei origins. The beginning the northern wei emperor is of tuoba origin. And yu wen tai is of xianbei origin as well it set the foundation for tang.
Kuvvet karazehir I won’t watch this film though. Cao cao film and romance and three kingdoms are better ones and more historical. This is one of those Chinese drama done for costumes and women

Northern wei and the guan long group with the six town frontiers were the elite group that yu wen tai and dugu. Including sui and tang came from. It consist out of Xiongnu and xianbei. Turkic and mongols plus Han Chinese defending northern wei. As i Said film shows more for women. Beautiful costumes and palace stuff. Meant to show off. Qin empire film is also a good historical one with a rare actors

Kuvvet karazehir turkey is releasing a destan film about the gokturks but most of costume is ottoman. The costume for Tiele would definitely look Chinese with dragon patterns in this period. Didn’t get to see it yet

Before i love to watch kdrama and so adicted but now i was so amaze with cdrama bc of amazing fantasy drama they are all interesting to watch especially with there customes and the nature..there all beautiful also i admired the actor and actress there so very talented and skills they are all amazing..but my fav the most is ashes of love it was so interesting and yet you can feel the true meaning of love,frendship,and especially to forgive someone that cause your pain.

In A.D. 421 the emperor of Beiwei whose name was Yuan Xiu, headed the troops to crusade against the powerful minister Gao Huan, who did not show enough respect to the emperor. But GAO Huan was so strong that the emperor Yuan Xiu nearly failed. Yuan Xiu was forced to stay in Luoyang with his army, while many people in his army had surrendered in secret in this time. In a hurry escaped the emperor with five thousand reliable soldiers to Guanzhong at night and wanted to attach to the general Yuwen Tai. Another general Dugu Xin also helped the emperor. At one night the emperor found a prophecy that the world would belong to the family Dugu and he thought that he would own the world as long as the general Dugu still stands by him loyally. This drama mainly tells the story about the three daughters of Dugu Xin, who all became the Queens of three different dynasties later. That is why the prophecy said the world would belong to the family Dugu.
