wow 89 and going strong
What an incredible man.
What a time to be alive!
Superb video. This guy looks great for his age
This wise old man is correct.
I usually don't comment but god bless this man! You're an inpiration!
CNBC Television, Wow, this made my day brighter! Thank you!
AI will soon take your job, or the job of someone you care about. Our society is about to need an Unconditional Basic Income, to keep people from falling into poverty while they figure out what to do next.
That was unusually elucidating
The internet was comparable.
Forget about "investment opportunities", that is short term greedy thinking. AI will soon force us to overhaul how the economy works for average people, we must begin making changes NOW! This is something which demands major structural change to the core of how we do things. When AI out competes most people, we cannot morally expect the average worker find a job to earn an income, just to survive and not be homeless. That entire justification for how we distribute basic resources to people, must now change! We cannot structure society around requiring everyone having a job anymore. Eeryone in society must benefit from AI, not just a few who stole everyone else's data, in order to train AI to then out compete them.
frankly I think AI will make big tech obsolete
@@gibdi0n It'll make a lot of things obsolete. Including the idea of jobs. How can it not?
@@gibdi0n AI is big tech. And its a tool. Its not a labor force replacement. Its a labor force reducer. AI can't think logical or rationally beyond what it was programmed to do. If the input is bad then the output will be bad and have issues. You still need people with industry specific knowledge to correct the AI when it goes wrong. But the number of people needed to do this will reduce over time in some domains.
So, no use cases yet?
What is the service to use AI to decipher medical bills? That really perked my ears since I’ve used AI before to dispute a frivolous bill from a large corporation that formerly provided us GPS services on our vehicles. So I became a believe in the power of AI to transform the world.
Companies like Palantir will be adopted in the medical and healthcare service spheres. They'll be first applied to cost savings and profit generation by institutions, then maybe later to organize medical histories and make them navigable to clients. This is in accord with the older ACA and HITECH mandates. We're a long way from accessible and intelligent second opinions and pro-consumer utilization review services.

God bless this old man
No more private investment talk, individuals should not profit from this over the rest of us.. Society needs to be invested in AI, as a whole, because the benefits of AI need to go to everyone, or we'll end up in a dystopic scenario. AI exists thanks to years of data and content, collected from all of us, which goes into training it. It owes its existence to society, so ALL in society must benefit!
He didnt tell us directly but he was trying to.
They wouldnt want to let him go otherwise.
He helped a bit too many countries a bit too much...
Its significant but the current ai rally is early and wont sustain , also when you dig into the nvda rally you see that nvda are buying contracts instead of shares which is a form of manipulation
Price is truth
Wow 89 just get married! Very impression
We smashed those metal M@#$@# into junk!!, we were that close to getting wiped out.
We have all been forced aboard a barely tested ai rocketship, whose mechanics can't explain how the components actually arrive at it's incredible performance, equipped with gauges that are mostly right, but often lie...can teach itself things we aren't fully aware of yet...contains a gas pedal that is capable of speeds that are so fast that it can destroy many aspects of humanity and doesn't have a limiter on it...whose design specs are available for criminals to craft equivalent rocket ships without any safety features, and exponentially flying faster and faster to an unknown destination hoping that nothing will break and that all will be just fine? Got it.

Frances on john raul "i know him, he is sh, he did his work and helped us unlock it and make it work. I would k him also""if he was with us. We would work with him again".
She brought him up. People were talking about it with he or her people i guess. Taunts of a call out when he was in israel.
Not the reason why. But it went with the trick everyone was in on.
This guy looks great for his age. More power to him.
That's what happens when the rich horde all the REAL healthcare for themselves.
6:47 every has fought feminism??? Not sure what that means lol
Gartner Hype Cycle
“There’s really 3 or 4 Large Language models”????? This interviewer has NO IDEA What he’s talking about. What a misrepresented uninformed thing to say. There are MANY LLMs. Dude he seriously just say that? He sits there with all the so-called confidence speaking like he knows what he’s talking about. Not a good look CNBC. Get people like Christopher Lafayette to speak on AI on your programs. You should be quite embarrassed literally putting out this misinformation.
He means there are only a few that matter at the moment, like ChatGPT, Claude, Mixtral, Gemini... Don't take it too literally.
Who is the champ??
this is in 2024
blah..blah...blah! so much focus on AI. Remember the metaverse? Its all overpriced because theres too much money.
Was the "Metaverse" a technology that automated human cognition? No? Then there is not a comparison between AI and the failed Metaverse idea.
This is an entirely different thing we now face.
Such a silly comparison!
