5...Bg4 is a rare but challenging response. In the original study, Yanyan went with the top engine move 6 Qc2, I myself have gone 6 Qa4+ on the three occasions that I have gotten this position but I think William's improvised 6 Qb3 should be considered the main line. 6...e5 is a very tough move for Black to find and on 6...exd3 as in the game, White is clearly better after 7 Qxb7
Yes! When you do your full YanYan video and first Sicilian gambit, mention why you don't play the Smith-Morra. I’d have figured Esserman’s style and theory to be right up your alley. Great video!
Okay it's your first Yanyan game so I didn't look like you got your pieces in the right places! But somehow you just make it work. Thanks btw your channel is really good for my game. I was hoping you'd do something on the sicillian. I've been playing the Smith Morra. There are lines where you can really drag your opponent out into the woods.
Im so happy seeing my gambit being played by people truly my best gambit to this day :)
GG ! Was fun to follow this on stream
More coming I hope !

Always a treat to watch. However, this cannot be replicated at home. Blunders WILL occur.
As long as your opponent blunders more! :)
Nice video! do you have any recommendations against the scandi?

why Icant see ELO that your opponent???
Who comes up with these names?
It's named after the legendary player Yanyan !
This gambit looks very interesting. Only bad thing is that the study is made by a banned player😞
Nice gambit! But your wooden chess set spoils the demonstration - a piece of junk.
Aw I kinda like it :)
I understand, but most viewers consider you as a professional and your amateur set doesn't fit in.
