This most significant problem with notebooklm is that it's a google product, you login in with a google account, which means that google has another way to harvest your behavior to build a patter about you. This is a terribly invasive violation of anyone's privacy and if you care about your privacy being exposed to a corporate giant you'll not use this product.

Option 2 - You don't trust anyone, which means you are making the active choice to be left behind and don't use any AI? Which is it?
Yes, of course, I believe in the power of AI. But as for where this power matters, I think it all comes down to what is the purpose of using AI. If it helps understand tasks or do some jobs that are risk-safe, then it's ok to use, but don't trust it too much when it revolves around any changes important to life yet, because it is where the problems are.
And if everyone on the internet started to use this tool, the internet would stop to function as it does, because no ads were seen by the websites, and no ads were seen on youtube. Companies that work hard to provide proper sources would go bankrupt and the ai's would slowly but steadily become worse and worse, because their sources would cease to exist. That being said, I do see the value of this, but I also dislike it immensely, because I prefer to use my head to work through things, through the reading of text or watching videos. If all of that is done for me, I lose my thinking edge and get dumber. Same thing with coding with AI. I can use a bit of it, but at a certain point, I have to try to rely on my own mind, otherwise I'm just going around in circles with the AI.
hmm you still use your heard when you use AI. You still have to ask it questions, you still have to drive it, you still have to use your knowledge and experience in order to get the answers you need. Once you are armed with all this, you can make an informed decision using your own mind. When you feed it data (as I showed in the real-estate example) and overlay that with written, audio, and video, then it can do so much work that your brain simply can not. But its a tool - once you have it all in one place, you really still need to drive and extrapolate the value. oh and we are a long way from "everyone on the internet using this tool" and companies like Google recognize that they have to adapt or die because their ad model isn't going to be around forever.
@LironSegev so if all your subsribers start to use this tool, and now all your videos, all your efforts are reduced to a source in an ai, do you have a plan for this like Google liron?
Interesting definition of Artificial: artificial adjective °Man-made; of artifice. "The flowers were artificial, and he thought them rather tacky." °False, misleading. "Her manner was somewhat artificial."
The word "artificial" simply means "made or produced by human beings rather than occurring naturally." AI refers to systems or machines designed by humans to mimic aspects of natural intelligence, such as learning, reasoning, or problem-solving. The label "artificial" doesn't imply that AI is inferior to natural intelligence. In many tasks, AI can outperform humans, such as in large-scale data analysis or performing calculations. However, it lacks the emotional, contextual, and ethical depth of human intelligence, which makes it different rather than inherently lesser. The term "artificial" might carry negative connotations in some contexts-like "fake" or "unnatural"-which could influence perceptions of AI. However, these are cultural interpretations rather than technical realities. As AI systems become more advanced, the boundary between "artificial" and "natural" intelligence may blur. For example, neural networks and other AI architectures are inspired by biological processes, making them a hybrid of artificial design and natural principles. Ironically the above was written by artificial intelligence.
Let me ask you this: if there was a brand new plane from a company you never heard of, would you fly in it? Or Would prefer to fly with an industry standard company that has been making planes for generations? Genuinely asking: if you don't trust Google, who would you trust? A rando company from another country?
Here's the reason that I do not believe the tool is as useful as you might propose. Personal research involves judgment calls. I do not trust tools like this to interpret the data gathered in the same way that I would.
That's the bias I was talking about. If you only feed it sources that support your view then it's an echo chamber. If you are able to analyse multiple sources of data and analyse it and you have the hours to do it then go for it.
thats why I like this tool - you get to decide what the source of the information is vs relying on AI to find stuff for you from who-knows-where. Also it avoids the AI hallucination
Remember back in the day that people learnt how to use Microsoft Office and put that on their resume? They had an advantage of people who didn't know how to use those tools. This is no different. Its a tool - there are those who know how to use it and those who don't.
It didn't like importing this video, as I guess its relatively new, but it liked your last video. Findings: Despite repeated exposure to the conversation about Toledo, no ads related to travel, hotels, car rentals, or even the city itself appeared on any of the phones. The presenter highlights that while ads were displayed, they were primarily related to technology, aligning with his general browsing history. Conclusion: The video concludes that the widespread belief that phones constantly listen to conversations to tailor ads is unfounded. It attributes the phenomenon to a combination of sophisticated data collection methods, psychological biases, and targeted advertising strategies. However, it acknowledges the potential for data collection through voice assistants, urging viewers to disable related settings for increased privacy. This briefing provides a comprehensive overview of the video's arguments and evidence. While it debunks the myth of constant phone listening, it raises important points about data privacy and the potential for data collection through voice assistants. Overall, a useful tool. Noice. :)

oh and we are a long way from "everyone on the internet using this tool" and companies like Google recognize that they have to adapt or die because their ad model isn't going to be around forever.
@LironSegev so if all your subsribers start to use this tool, and now all your videos, all your efforts are reduced to a source in an ai, do you have a plan for this like Google liron?
Interesting definition of Artificial:
artificial
adjective
°Man-made; of artifice.
"The flowers were artificial, and he thought them rather tacky."
°False, misleading.
"Her manner was somewhat artificial."
ok
Ironically the above was written by artificial intelligence.
i am a fan from bangladesh
hey!
Don’t take my Money, and my Data, what’s in it for them?
Will probably be a paid for service at some point is my guess
Do we trust google?
Let me ask you this: if there was a brand new plane from a company you never heard of, would you fly in it?
Or
Would prefer to fly with an industry standard company that has been making planes for generations?
Genuinely asking: if you don't trust Google, who would you trust? A rando company from another country?
Here's the reason that I do not believe the tool is as useful as you might propose. Personal research involves judgment calls. I do not trust tools like this to interpret the data gathered in the same way that I would.
That's the bias I was talking about. If you only feed it sources that support your view then it's an echo chamber. If you are able to analyse multiple sources of data and analyse it and you have the hours to do it then go for it.
Honey ad? 😂
did you really get a Honey ad??!?! how are they still pushing their crap???
❤❤❤❤❤
👍

AI is like anything else. It depends on the Humans creating it and using it
100%
AI, I would like to know if you could use AI to fact-check AI down the road, given all the phony stuff. I am just chatting out loud.
CAVU
thats why I like this tool - you get to decide what the source of the information is vs relying on AI to find stuff for you from who-knows-where. Also it avoids the AI hallucination
Pretty amazing what technology can do. Also sad because this will take away jobs from real human beings.....
Remember back in the day that people learnt how to use Microsoft Office and put that on their resume? They had an advantage of people who didn't know how to use those tools.
This is no different.
Its a tool - there are those who know how to use it and those who don't.
Nah I'm good. Anything AI turns me off.

It didn't like importing this video, as I guess its relatively new, but it liked your last video.
Findings:
Despite repeated exposure to the conversation about Toledo, no ads related to travel, hotels, car rentals, or even the city itself appeared on any of the phones.
The presenter highlights that while ads were displayed, they were primarily related to technology, aligning with his general browsing history.
Conclusion:
The video concludes that the widespread belief that phones constantly listen to conversations to tailor ads is unfounded.
Noice. :)
haha I also tried - it just needs some time to process as I think it is too new so it doesn't have the transcript yet.
what a load of bullshit
ok. I'll bite: do tell what your issue is?
So I could do this for U.S.S. Liberty articles and reports
I havent tried but if its a public facing link, and there are no copyright restrictions on it, that prevent it from being accessed somehow, then it should work.
