You’re a huge inspiration! Also it looks like you’re still logging your runs on Strava with the Vivobarefoot shoes instead of the Altras. I’ve been wondering how you’ve been liking the Vanish Tempo and what shoes you use for different kinds of runs

I've done Austria 5 times since 2016, amazing place, any advice ask away

How’s the bike leg? Is it hilly? What gear combinations did you have?

I’ve actually been looking for some information on the bike course and can’t find too much. Apparently it changed a few years ago and is now a slower bike course I’ve heard but if you’ve got any info on it that’d be amazing! I was hoping it would be quite a fast course but I’m not so sure after a little bit of research haha

@@LewisFordham used to be two laps but now you do one lap of the original and a new lap before that , if that makes sense, it's a nice fast rolling course with a couple of sting in the tail hills, but train hard and you'll roll over these fine. It can get quite hot there so I'd recommend travel size factor 50 in each transition bag and come out looking ghostly 😂 and hopefully you won't burn, it was 36 degrees in 2016 and probably same last year

Yeah that’s makes sense, thanks for that dude! I’ve got a 1x set up so hopefully won’t regret that on the steeper sections 😂 36 degrees is a little nerve racking! I’m not the best in the heat, think I’ll need to do some prep for that haha

@@LewisFordham just drink every 10 minutes and use electrolytes, and keep the sun off your head and eyes as much as you can on bike and run if it's like that, 2019 it had a horrible storm come over , hail as big as onions and it lashed it down, temp went from 32 to 12 on my garmin, I had zero brakes for fast downhills as had carbon wheels and rim brakes which are shit in the wet lol, and it seemed like it was mostly brits still out biking in the worst, loads hid under what shelters they could find
