The chemistry between this two is fantastic. One of the many reasons this show is so good. They handled the og characters so well while also ,a king us care about the new characters. This is how you bring a franchise back.

Mary is such a humble and genuine young lady .I love how she has managed to separate her humanity from stardom. A very rare quality in Hollywood.
Ralph also is one of my all time favorite actors who is also one of the most genuine people off the camera that has not let fame go to his head ..Two people I would love to hang out with and have a few drinks.
I love how they also have a father-daughter relationship outside of the show :)

Love these two! They couldn't have picked a better Lady than Mary Mouser to play Daniel LaRusso's Daughter. She's just the right mixture of sweet natured and eager to learn. She and Ralph have such a believable and warm dynamic together. Cannot wait to see them again in season 5! 💖
I really loved Season 5 but I also really wanted Sam to teach her mom how to fight after that incidant at the bar. It could have been a good mother/daughter bonding thingand she needs to know how to protect herself too.

It's a great show because the original movie was so good and they got almost all the same actors to come back. Pat Morita is missing, but it makes sense since he was an older character and it was to be expected that Daniel would lose him someday and be on his own.
They really do feel like father and daughter 🥲😅
Ralph is so cool guy and it's amazing to listen how Pat Morita's legacy continues with this show and the history and so happy to watch again chozen let's hope they bring more characters

I just want to say thanks to Sony for arranging this conversation between Mary and Ralph. It is probably the best interview I have seen about cobra kai and I have seen a lot of them. I really hope they will arrange more of these. It would be great to see Billy and Xolo do one, Peyton and Martin Kove, Courtney and Mary, Tanner and Ralph, the combinations are many.
Its interesting that Ralph talks about seaosn 5 as being one of the middle seasons so i wonder if that means we will end up having 7-8 seasons of CK. But Mary also says with season 5 the storylines keep on expanding with new plots and characters so maybe the series could extend beyond 7-8 seasons. I hope so.
The martial artist in me now loves Mary so much more now since she learned what it is all about. ❤ I wish her all the best for her career.

It's amazing how all stars aligned for this show to be as great as it is: great writing, all the original actors showed up and still got it, all the new actors are fun and talented, the humor is on point, the throwback 80's music is fantastic, the treatment of the source material is done right. Cobra Kai is the gold standard for revival of nostalgic IP
Mary is such a talented Actress and from what I've seen & heard she's a nice kind & sweet person & Ralph is such a nice guy & a absolute Legend

I must confess that this is such a tremendous honour and a very extraordinary moment indeed. Ever since I watched all of Cobra Kai, I deeply fell in LOVE with it and its many phenomenal facets. When Robby Keene kicked Miguel over the railing and fell and demolished his spinal cord, I was simply devastated and I cried. This is why Cobra Kai literally and officially became the greatest sitcom I have ever seen. The ground-breaking and earth-emanating episode called No Mercy was one of my favourites because I loved the incredibly intense and very epic music which was orchestrated. As a result, by watching Cobra Kai, it seriously elevated many things within me to greater heights and I started to soar in the heavens. I can't wait to meet you all because I honestly adore you guys so very much! The Countdown to Season 5 has begun, wooooot! XD

Just like Mr Miyagi was there for me. - This is one of the most passionate and cherished moments in the entire show mainly because Daniel Larusso was able to remove all fears from her, making Sam's gorgeous, blue eyes sparkle with TRUST and LOVE. :)

This is a nice feature by Sony, spending some time with the original Ralph Macciho and essentially his next generation, Mary Mouser. These were both well cast back then and today. It is very hard to think of a sequel ever this popular crossing over from movies to streaming. I am just glad this has been such a huge success we get all 6 seasons the creators planned - potentially as soon as late 2023.

@@OscarMPG1 Tbh I’m afraid for the Blue Beetle movie based on how many things have been canceled since the merger. Hoping nothing happens to it. I think she’d be a good Felicia Hardy because she can be gregarious/fun but still use all her martial arts skills as the Black Cat and play that side of Felicia Hardy differently. She’s already worked with Sony and since Sony technically owns the film rights to MCU Spider-Man, maybe it would be easier for her to get the role. Zatanna could be fun too - I only know her character from JLU, Smallville, and a bit from Young Justice. Why do you think Mary would be good for that role?

At Zatanna's core of her character, she's a daddy's girl who wants to live up to her dad's legacy but also wants to forge her own path. Personality wise Zatanna is sweet, cute, has prestigutation, but can hold her own in a fight. Much like Samantha Larusso

I am 47 and of course I started watching to see William and Ralph and other guys from the original cast, but man, I was shocked by the qualities of this new generation of kids.
Mary , Tanner and Daniel are the perfect trio they are my favorite and they each have such a strong powerful bond with one another and truly act like a family would and how a dad would treat his daughter bf if he joined the family

But also I have to point out I laughed out loud at several parts because the auto-generated subtitles do NOT do well with names, and seeing Xolo become "Sheldon" and Yuji become "Eugene" just... Yeah, NO :D
29:18 Roots and Wings would be a good name for a dojo that merges Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang. I wonder if the show will use that in season 6.
