riding on a quad bike shows miles of
destroyed Russian armour and equipment.

Telling that they didnt bother covering the large slanted windshields with netting of the TOS launcher as the sun glinting off those are a dead give away. I was in an armoured recce unit, and camo'd vehicles all the time and the windshields were always a priority. Guess this is why the Russians have lost so many of them...poor training.
Just propaganda footage. As if they're driving around with a camera crew capturing every moment . 2 of the 3 rockets are the same rocket just copy and pasted. They took drone footage of 3 rocket hits then pasted in some propaganda footage. The propaganda footage only had 2 rockets fired so they just copy and pasted one. It's kind of hilariously pathetic when you think about it.

It is hard to see how the dismissal of the top general was a mistake. It seems to be a universal view that the Ukrainian summer offensive was a failure. But, despite some frontline mix ups under Srsky (I am sure I spelled that incorrectly), it's not as if we can compare the performance of both generals in the same situations. Weapons deliveries, prepared defenses, broader goals, have all changed quite a bit. Even if the two generals were similarly competent, a switch might have been good to help ensure the enemy has to adapt to new approaches. As a distant observer, it looks like Ukraine is doing exceedingly well under the command of both generals and under massive pressure. Zelensky has to manage a war at home, shore up support abroad, and battle corruption/moles, too. That sounds like a difficult task. Indeed, I no of no person, other than myself, who could do all that without errors. 😅 Now, I have to ask this wasp 🐝 to leave my garage.

How will they pass each other? Ukrainians are allowed treatment, time with family, and medical help including mental health for ptsd etc. They are given a bag with clean clothes, a new phone, sweets, etc. The Russians when they get off the coach are sent straight back to the war, as its shameful to be caught or surrender they are told. So at least ukranians are treated better upon return .

It crazy to think that all it would take for this war to be over, for citizens/soldiers of both countries to able to go on about their lives, is for russia to stop the invasion. So many lives could be spared and families reunited but for one man's vanity.
That drive around the Russian-held area showing all the destroyed vehicles was chilling. Imagine the numbers of troops lost in that one area! Surely they realize that even with their population they can't just go on losing so many?

@richardmarsden5610. The war in Ukraine has already been won by Ukraine and what is happening now is just a mopping up operation. Ukraine doesn't need to do anything more than what they are doing because Russia is running extremely low on manpower and the Russian economy has completely collapsed.
Ukraine can just protect its troops while Russia keeps sending their troops into Ukrainian killing zones without any coordination or purpose.

@@las10plagas There were a number, not all by any means, who looked malnourished and had a definite CC look about them. Not all CC prisoners were walking skeletons, some were slightly better than that. I'd suggest that in another few months some of these guys would have been not far off death by starvation.
Both Ukrainians and Russians looked like concentration camp survivors to me.

@@las10plagasthe russains don't want to exchange their prisoners, as it means they have to pay them, they'd rather they died on the field, deny all knowledge of them joining up etc. But Ukrainians insist on it, and make the russains aware of their relatives in captivity so they pester the authorities to arrange a swap. You can see some of the interviews done on you tube.

Almost all of these Ukrainians seemed to have had rather minimal calories; they all looked gaunt to some degrees. I saw an interview of a Russian POW in Ukrainian hands talking to his wife, on the phone (provided by the Ukrainian security) and SHE, the wife, commented on his having put weight on....
Not to say the Ukrainians were doing Caviar, stuffed crust Pizza, & $25 per burger from In n Out ... for their Russian guests; but it seems like the Ukrainians are following the minimal rule of wars to a higher degree (as they want to move toward Western Europe & EU protocols, norms & regulations), by feeding their prisoners with the maximum calories needed, so when there are exchanged, Russians prisoners look so much healthier than their Ukrainian counterparts...
If you have any humanity at all you won't starve your prisoners.

Ukraine is definitely more like the west than like russia, at least in this regard. They do treat the russian POWs properly, and the Ukrainians are to be commended for this. It will make their admission to NATO that much less difficult.

Stop deleting comments “The Sun”
The fact that all this destroyed equipment is within a few feet of or on the road tells you a lot about the level of training and competence of the troops the Russians are sending into combat. They fail to clear the mines and do not provide adequate combat power of enough types to make this road a viable approach route. In stead they die peacemeal in bad ways.
They use the old-school method of clearing mines by sending troops to drive over them, then send in the next troops lol
It's crazy to think of how powerful russia was believed to be before the "special military operation", and how weak they are KNOWN to be now.

Russia forgot that the USSR was made up of many states including Ukraine. 😂 It's not as strong as the combined USSR. The west succeeded in dismantling the USSR,so as the states gained independence,the military strength that remained as Russia is not as strong and might as many thought. Except for the weapons that remained. Then they convinced Ukraine to give up their nuke. If those nukes were there Putin wouldn't dare attack Ukraine today.

Also, Afghanistan 2001 was in response to the 9/11 attacks… and the U.S. did indeed clear out the Taliban, they had become a non-entity until it was clear that the Afghani people did not want a western-style democracy… so the U.S. left in 2021. No need to try any more. Please note that the US did not try to “annex” Afghanistan or Iraq, even though we had completely beaten our opponent in each case.
