    Thank you for the lesson, Ritchie may lift an idea for a tune but what he does with it is exceptional.

    Garry is a magnificent player, don't know why I haven't crossed path with this gentlemen before. I Ihave a little inquiry: did you use the ENGL Balckmore's for this one?

    • @GarryChambers
      @GarryChambers  6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi, does anyone know which B.B. King tune this blues is based on? Gary says in the video it comes from a B.B. song, particularly the starting lick. So which B.B. starts just like this? Thank you

    Nice video. What scale are you using when playing fast like that?

    • @GarryChambers
      @GarryChambers  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chris Jimenez Hi Chris. I'm glad you liked the video.
      To the scales. There is a bit of a mixture between Dm blues and Dm pentatonic.
      The longer one near the end of the opening demo is Dm blues but my own style of pattern.
      Thanks. Gaz.

      Hi, you should be able to hear similarities in the studio versions intro of B. B. Kings Sweat Sixteen.

    • @lowbudgetproduction
      @lowbudgetproduction 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. There are similarities. Although I much prefer Blackmore's tone and phrasing.

    Garry, where to get the backing track of this stuff? Better in Mp3.....

    • @GarryChambers
      @GarryChambers  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I made this one a few years back. It's after the style of live Purple blues around the late 80's to early 90's.
      Most of these backing tracks are made here in the studio and as far as I can remember most are uploaded in Mp3.

      Garry Chambers rainbow San Antonio 82 blues and beethoven (end of blues bit), blackmore amazing blues, those are some of the clips, many thanks.

    • @GarryChambers
      @GarryChambers  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The San Antonio blues is in G and if we are talking about the same bit it's a run down in G.
      You could slow the video down and learn it. Just click on the cog on the bottom right hand corner, click normal and then click 0.5.
