This is the concluding part of my trip to bedford where we see a variety of services from east midlands trains, first capital connect and london midland with some freight activity.
Those new Paxman engines on the EMT HST sound so much better than the MTUs on the other operator's locos. Still not a patch on the original valentas though.
It's nice to hear a screaming HST instead of the bland humming that the others are now making. I have to agree nothing will come close to a valenta engine
