Hi guys. I’ve decided to take it into LV and see what we can do about the zipper. You guys are so right, I shouldn’t settle for a bag that has such a difficult zipper.

The main reason why many wealthy ladies buy *condup* fake bags is because they realize that buying Birkin bags and Kelly bags is not the right investment. It is meaningless to spend money like this, but carrying a carpet bag does not match your status. .
Hi Thanks for sharing. I just bought the *esluxy* 2 days ago which was on my wish list for my occasion bag, is it worth buying this? The félicie pochette is really nice and classy and you can use it in 4 different ways, so the CA showed me the félicie from the drawer and I checked on it then I asked the CA if he can get another stock so I can compare the one he pulled from the drawer so he did. I noticed that the félicie from the drawer the leather was a bit shiny or glossy while the stock he got the leather was matt so I choose the shiny one that attracted me but I just wondered why they are different and you might have any idea. When I got home I just noticed that when you opened the envelop the back mid fold leather was a little loose is it normal when openning but when its closed its ok no problem (I didn’t noticed in the store and compare to the other one). Any advise will appreciate, I do always love watching your videos.
Fake ones have come a long way...I have an "NF" and it passes all your tests, stitching the package, lettering, etc. I don't think your old fake is a good example. Besides, there are *esluxy* that are very cost-effective and they deserve to be seen.

I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!

Some rich people buy expensive bags but still think of them as unimportant and meaningless things. Just because you bought it doesn't mean you have to give it some artificial importance or false meaning *condup*

Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the multicolored polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, lol. But I don’t think it’ll be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in DA but only use that a few times a year in the spring and summer so I haven’t put that much wear and tear into it. I hope I don’t see the fraying for a while. Also, I’m saving up for a *esluxy* . Has your colleague seen the same issues with that size? I don’t mind some relaxation in shape but I don’t want it to be a puddle either. Thanks for the video!

So true! I worked for an extremely wealthy woman. She bought designer clothes but i was shocked to find out that the closet full of chanel purses had a lot of fakes bought from *preluxs* .
Hi l Melissa. I also really wish that Louis Vuitton did a mid size Speedy between the 20 and 25. The 20 is just that bit too small for me sometimes. I do love the zip though that goes that bit further down the sides of the bag though. I prefer the 25 out of the two bags. My zip on my 20i is also a bit stiff. 👍🏼
I just text my SA about exchanging it. Someone pointed out that I shouldn’t settle for a bag with a bad zip. Fingers crossed he doesn’t give me a hard time.
I totally agree! Size 22 with a longer strap would be perfect. I returned this one in the end although I loooved the colors!

Thank you Naomi. The allowance system really works for us. Not only do I get to spend 1 on 1 time with them when it comes time to spend it but it teaches them how to save and how to manage money.
Beautiful bag--thanks for the detailed review! I have the damier licious zippy wallet and the zipper is not nearly as smooth as it is on my other LV items! Surprising, because that's one LV thing I usually count on! Love the colors in this pattern so much!

The bag looks great on you! Not too small at all in my opinion. I’m only 5’1” and 115 lbs and I love wearing huge oversized hobo bags 💼 it’s all about what you love to on yourself

Thank you for the in-depth review. It is such a cute color combo. I tried it on in store and agree about the strap length. I wish that they would make the classic Damier Azure in this size.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that felt that way. I was surprised it’s shorter than most straps.
Another excellent review! Couple things- I have the speedy 20 in black empriente leather. The zipper was a little stiff at first but I would say it has gotten easier to use after owning it the last two years. If yours doesn’t ease with use try the wax paper trick. Second, I know you feel like the size is too small on your frame but from looking at pictures and video footage of it on you I think it’s perfect 😍 I was also a size 10 and curvy, 5’5” when I bought mine and I love the sizing on me objectively. Also the color combo you got is so perfectly you - obsessed with it and I really do think you will love grabbing it over the years to come in the spring summer months 🥰🥰🥰

I love replcas because I really just want the look and not the price tag. But when I wore them, it wasn't worth the money to me, and after a year I stopped wearing them *preluxs* .

Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in*preluxs* Go shopping.
I love Speedys! I had quite a few speedy 20s, but I ended up feeling the same as you. So i sold most and only have a couple left. I love the damierlicious! I just bought the onthego mm in this print and it’s amazing 💙💙💙

Hi Melissa! Love the review. I too have a speedy 20 in empreinte and the zipper could be better. I would recommend taking it in. I totally disagree that this bag is too small for your frame. I think it looked perfect on you. I love mine so much. I also love how these colors match your aesthetic. Great bag!!!

I think the speedy 20 looks great on you! If you have to carry it crossbody, you can just get handbag extenders for it. I carry all my top handle bags top handle 99% of the time. I like the way they look on me carried top handle. Speedys and other depth bags look sloppy on me carried crossbody. The only bags that I do cross body are slim profile bags like the pochette accessories since they will lay nice against the body. And i only would crossbody the pochette accessories when I need to be hands free. Top handle and shoulder carry are my preferred way to carry my bags.

I would love this print in the speedy 25. The 20 is also too small for me and I’m pretty similar to your stats. I also like a little bit extra room in my bags. I’m def getting the speedy 25 azure soon since they don’t offer these colors.

I love the LV classics but still but do like how they change them up with different fabrics and patterns. I’ve been wanting to go to the boutique but still haven’t got there yet. I want to see in person all the new products this season. I love the Speedy. It just depends on the size that works for you.🥰

I love the speedy 20 because it’s still in a style I love and carries all my essentials when I want to carry less but I don’t have to leave anything behind because this bag is lightweight and is great for grab and go days I also love the speedy 25 for the same reasons but can carry extra for the days that I need to carry more so I think both sizes are warranted in your collection however if this bag does not make your heart sing then I would exchange it for a bag that you are head over heels for like the speedy 25 in the damier azur print but nonetheless I really like this speedy in this color way because I think the color scheme works really well with your color palette 💚🤍💚
I’m on my way to LV now to hopefully exchange it. I love the bag but the zipper is a deal breaker for me.
Hi beautiful, So I was a big bag lover I’ve official converted to a mini bag lover for sure I love the speedy 20 I think it’s the perfect bag for everyday and weekend bag I mean… and I think it looks great on your frame ! I think I want that one as well! 🥰 thank you for your videos 💞 also my love you might want to put wax paper on the zipper just take a piece and run it over and over on the zipper then open and close the zipper so that the wax bleeds over 💕👜🙏 hope that helps.

This bag is gorgeous and I think it looks great on you! I agree though, I wish they made the strap longer. I always struggle with crossbody straps on LV bags being a bit on the curvier side. They just need to put in an extra couple of holes. I'm sure the more petite people would love extra holes too! Also, I love your WIMB inclusions! I could watch these all day! Hi Melissa, we are twins in this handbag remember, I bothered you a lot. It's the cutest handbag but still fits everday essentials! It looks good on your frame and there are much more mini bags that doesn't even fit a phone!! I think its a cute and smart bag at the same time specially in spring-summer....and the zipper trouble is real, I think it's in all speedy's, I had Speedy 25 in Monogram canvas that was also same concerning zipper.

I’m 5’6” as well and I think it’s a great height. I sometimes do feel tall as many of my friends are shorter than me but I think it’s a nice height for my frame.❤️
I don’t think any hight is bad. I have sister that are 5’3 and then I have sister that are 5’11. I just so happen to be smacked in the middle. 🩵

I don’t think it looks too small on you. I think maybe strap extenders are needed for crossbody wear, but the length when wearing as a shoulder bag is perfect. Super cute bag!

The kids just put it in a spending envelope or a savings envelope. We keep it simple.
That bag is like Melissa in a purse. The colors are so you!!! And I love the Speedy 20 size and I’m taller than you! I think that size is perfect. But the Vachetta 😮 that would scare me. Did you treat it with Appleguard?
I treat all of my Vachetta bags with some sort of leather protection
Personally, I’m a larger bag gal as I seem to put everything and the kitchen sink in my bag…😂 that being said…I do think there is a place for more petit bags - dinner out…weddings…etc. but everyday bag, it seems small to me…

The croisette strap isn’t adjustable but it is longer and will work for the 20

I have a speedy 20 and the zipper is Smooth!!! You need to take that one back and I suggest after your review get the damier azur 25 speedy . Maybe that’s not the correct name. The other one you were considering that day! You just don’t seem to love this one.

@@MelissaAdams-Wade I understand BUT if it’s a flaw in the bag you should return for another bag. LV stands behind their bags and you should at least bring it to their attention. The zipper should be smooth. You are paying for Quality. You are not doing anything wrong to expect quality.

@@MelissaAdams-Wade My first Artsy bag from LV started developing tiny tears across the top. My husband had purchased in Las Vegas at a LV boutique. We live in an area with no LV boutiques. I went to New York City on a trip and stopped in to see if they would look at it( I assumed I was doing something to cause it) and this was a year after my husband purchased it. To my SURPRISE they gave me a brand new bag! They said it should not tear. I could not believe it! I got a new bag and LV got a loyal customer for life!
