    With Love n Respect
    I used your Heroes album to help me keep my head on while being my Mom's caretaker as we were dealing with stage 4 lung cancer, may she Rest in Peace, may GOD B with her Family and Thank U FATHER for Blessing me with my All time Hero n Champion.
    My Brothers and I hadn't talked for about 7 or 8 years but your song "still bleeding" as well as Our FATHER's HOLY Spirit softened a hardened heart enough to give another shot at a relationship with them.
    Thank U Lion I Really mean it.
    Love n Blessings Family!!!

    • @h2rosales
      @h2rosales 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CKdaGiftedOne206 Yeah it went over my head as a kid too. Lol.
      He made a statement under the FAQ on his website. Basically the song is a cover and lll-M-I means “Broken am I” and Illuminati means to be enlightened. The original artist meant to be speaking out against a “holier than thou” attitude.
      He quotes
      “So the chorus is saying, ‘broken am I, and you, those who claim to possess superior enlightenment, are coming through,’ as in, ‘you’re spiritually enlightened, you have it all together.’ [sarcasm implied] But of course, they really don’t, and the song stands to remind us that we’re all broken.”
      He didn’t mean it to do anything with the apparent Illuminati “secret society.”

    Joyner Lucas - 508-507-2209 (intro to underground secular hip-hop world)
    J.I.D. - The Never Story (unique flows and style, young artist with potential to have extreme influence in the game)

    Andy Mineo - Uncomfortable (intro to hip-hop)
    Smino - Noir (melodies, flows, style, all of it. Nothing comparable in those aspects.)
    Honorable mentions include

    I will forever love and cherish one of the pioneers of Christian rap. A group called grits, which was an acronym for Grammatical Revolution in the spirit. It wasn’t until my teen years that I found out one of my favorite songs from them called here we go was actually in the soundtrack of Disney’s extreme skate adventure. Andy Mineo, if you’re reading this comment, check out the DJ Maj mixtapes. They feature a ton of early Christian rappers with straight up godly messages all the time
