Um...No...I'd have to disagree. Good song but does not mean God is taking over Hip Hop. This is his most popular song and still comes no where near the top in Hip Hop. 3.5 Million views verses Hotline Bling by Drake at 749.5 Million views. He has a long way to go and him singling himself out as a Christian will make it easier for him to build traction because of the lack of Christian rappers (Or at least good ones). So this is helpful for him but in the mainstream casual listeners will most likely not want to hear a lot of Christian lyrics especially if they themselves are not Christian. I feel if he made at least some other good songs that are not so based on God and Christianity he could grow even more and then put a dent into Hip Hop. Just being realistic.

To "Take over Hip Hop" IS about the numbers. You can't just ignore that. I love Hip Hop as well however I am not a Christian (I am a Deist). I still enjoy this song though. The songs that are about women, drugs and money are in every genre. Songs like that will never stop being created and being popular because they are relevant in most peoples lives. Not every mainstream rapper has to put out a song about those topics. Example: Me, Myself&I by G-Easy. It's about how he is dealing with finally blowing up. You can't say "so called famous artist" when they hold the number which do show the popularity which is what makes people famous. I am not saying for him to drop Christianity off his albums but at least make a few songs without it and see how he does so he can appeal to a bigger audience.

I grew up listening to rap by DMX and Eminem, which was totally misleading but all there was on the radio. I hope one day, we could have a radio station for only Christian Rap to spread the word more of your genre and bring people to Christ.
