My buddy impacted an airborne manhole cover on I-5 in Seattle. The cover was about a foot above ground when he hit it while going 50 mph. He lived but the T-Bird was totaled.

I’m an electrical and electronics engineering student who has great experience in electrical installations and the design of city drainage networks, it’s not common nor good practice to have single or double insulated cables running in this manner with drainage systems, let alone them crossing. I recommend SWA that is clipped to the walls or single conductors ran through IP rated conduit flush against the wall.

Not sure, but I think it was the gas that created the explosion.. Some of these manhole covers have exploded while cars are driving over them and people using fireworks near them, so i am ok with wiring causing the gas to light at this scenario, but what about the many, many others..?? And what about the exploding manhole covers epidemic in China and why just now..?? Clearly something is happening here..

    This was my own answer:
The firecracker explodes->Manhole is not an open area
So as the Firecracker explodes it builds up Pressure and causes manhole to explode
And i have to say.. KARMA FOR BEING A STOOPID BETCH FOR THROWING FIRECRACKER IN MANHOLES SILLY U AINT OUR FAULT YOU MADE YOUR DECISION

@Franky games1 To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎
