- In this video, I will go over the 20 logos (in order from least to most scary) that I am not fond of. All opinions are respected.
Please note that this is my first time in Windows Movie Maker (yes, don't judge), and this video took me eight hours total to make this.
I own none of the videos used in this presentation or the companies mentioned.
Ear Booker Productions is the production company of Weird Al. So, knowing him, it was meant that way.

Whoops! I forgot to give the reasons why Tele Monte Carlo is scary.
Obviously, due to the excessive design. When I first saw it in a logo history video by Il-TUBO 36, I could not believe that it was used for twelve years. Such a little place like Monaco has such a big ident. The music is somewhat enjoyable to listen to but comes out too grandiose. Sorry I left it out. Like I said, it's my first true video.

this video kinda makes me cringe honestly, with the introductory-level windows movie maker editing and exaggerated comments about how "scaaaary" these logos are. truth is, logos aren't scary. never were meant to be.

Ear booker productions is the production company of Weird Al, so knowing him it was intentional to do something weird in their logo
Also some may find it funny instead of being scary , especially fans of Weird Al

i actually think the Lynch/Frost logo is really cool, considering Twin Peaks is a creepy, surreal series; it fits in rather well

The concept of the Lisberger Studios logo is quite amazing.
Yup, I was wondering where I had heard that name before, and then I saw the Tron discs and remembered.
It's also pretty all over the place animation-wise
Maybe I watched too much Bruce Lee's movies so Golden Harvest's logo is one of my favourite logos of all time :)
6. For context, Mushroom founder Michael Gudinski was from Melbourne, so a depiction of a nuke destroying Sydney would have been completely in character.

SuperVideo: Low to high. WHAT DID I JUST SEE?
Scottish Television: None. It's soothing
Lisberger Studios: Medium. What was that?
WGBH (Short variant): None. It doesn't bother me at all.
KM Video: Low. WHAT DID I JUST SEE?
Georgia Public Television: Minimal
UMC Pictures: Minimal to nightmare-ish. The music is weird.
Epic Music Video: High to nightmare. It doesn't scare me, but this does not help.
3-G Home Video: Nightmare-like. TOO LOUD!
Lynch/Frost: None to low. I am not prone to epilepsy anyway.
DTS: Minimal
VID (April Fools Day variant): None. This is absolutely funny that it made me laugh until I peed my pants.
Tele Monte Carlo: High. What did I just see?
Balakrishna Movies: None. This doesn't even scare me.
Argentina Televisora Color: Medium-ish.
Mushroom Pictures: None. It's actually silly.
Colombiana de Teleusion: Nightmare-ish.
Vadi-Mon: Low. The music is actually soothing.
Industrial Records Video: High-like. What is this?
Asymmetrical: Minimal. There's nothing to worry about.
Ear Booker: Medium. That was annoying.
This is one of the best "top scariest logos" videos I've seen IMHO. Well done. ;-)

It reads more like “Colombiana De Teleuisión“ due to it being misspelled and to a terrible choice in writing fonts more than anything. As for that “fanfare", its quite obnoxious instead of being scary. (It sounds more like a badly glitched Atari 2600 game though.)

have you ever seen the Alpha logo (1980-1983)? People find it scary and I can see why, but I love the logo! It fits well for their scary movies. Heck, I made a video on me worshipping the logo and call it Lord Alpha. XD

Wow, there are some pretty trippy ones I've never seen before! And who ever decided showing Sydney getting nuked was a good idea? And the DTS one actually brings back some nice memories of when I could afford to go to the theater more often.

Lisberger is the last name of the director from the movie Tron his name was Steve Lisberger

16: It's bright and boring, but it's better than the 70s logo. Either way, I'm use to music nowadays. Before that, I thought it was a lackluster.
15 (3): I almost had a seizure but I like the "presents" part.
15 (2): Awesome and the music is better longer with and without Rock and Roll.

14: That hurt my ears. At least it's long because I'll run from it as far as I can.

9: I love the music but the animation is unnecessary and it gave me a nightmare. I thought I was going to die from a seizure but I don't usually get seizures and it's hard for me to get a seizure.

6: Take away the seizure inducing images, and you get a Blockbuster hit.
5: Too loud! Why would they do that? The animation isn't really the issue because that's what it looks like back in the 70s and I would totally understand but the loud music and sound effects are scary, loud, unnecessary and ridiculous.
4: Terrible corny sad space funeral music. The animation is 💩 too.

For me, I have been terrified VID/ВИД/ВИD, ever since the day I watched the benighted thing years ago. Never will I want to watch this logo without shielding the screen from seeing the mask of whatever, regardless of version. 😖
I remember seeing that DTS digital logo in theaters as a kid. I always thought the logo exploding into little dust particles was cool, but that last low note with rumbling, loud surround sound in a dark room?

I would cover my ears and put my head down and cower in fear.
Oh and that VIDEMON logo? Those eyes were uncalled for and Saturn was a scary planet for me in my youth. Yes. Nightmare levels indeed.

3. Corus Entertainment (WTF Really? This logo is just too cheesy. But for some reason this freaked me out when i was a little kid)
2. Klasky-Csupo SSF (Oh My... Dont even mention. That face is really nightmarish and ugly. WHat's with all those sounds tho? )
1. Any YTV logo/ID used between 1994 and 2005 (They give me such nightmares. Seriously for a children's network here in Canada, with scary monsters and fucked up bumpers)

the scariest logo i have seen is hi-tech video (greek dvd producer idk) that has such weird animation, including the font they used for "hi-tech" 😖 but the music is more scary then you think. the fanfare used is by an armenian composer i think, and the high notes that are played (at least in hi-tech video's lo-tech quality😂😂) sounded like a girl screeching😮💨 and ending with a screechy crescendo😣

19 - none. I just think the nightmare label is ridiculous, the music's actually quite nice even though it's not original. Should be low at most, not at least, unless you have epilepsy/seizures
18 - none
17 - none to minimal, actually this one's pretty cool!! Once again the nightmare label is ridiculous, it should be low to medium at most
16 - none to low
15a - none to low
15b - none to minimal. The third time I've said it - the nightmare label is ridiculous, and I say the same as the second one I've said it on
15c - none
14 - none to low
13 - low at normal volume, medium to high at this volume. Cuts close to the nightmare label for the first time.
12 - minimal to low. At this point few logos are actually scary
11 - minimal to low, but low to medium in theatres.
10 - low to medium. Would have been high to nightmare if I was conforming with the CLG scare factor standards.
9 - low, but higher if you have epilepsy
8 - low. Would have been medium to high in CLG scare factor standards
7 - low to medium. Matches the CLG scare factor standards
6 - minimal to low, but the *thought* of Sydney getting bombed is unsettling especially now that a nuclear war is thinkable, and we're on Defcon 3 because Vladolf Putler decided that it was a good idea to slaughter Ukrainian civilians all over the country.
*5 - medium to nightmare.* This is the first one imo that will get a nightmare rating, oh my god these sounds are so unpleasant to the ears
4 - none to low
3 - medium to high. The atmosphere in general... the loud whooshes, you get what I mean
2 - low to high. Higher if you have epilepsy once again
*1 - high to nightmare.* Low to medium without the epileptic effects.
Other notable "scary logos" -
Screen Gems' S from Hell - none. This one is absolutely harmless lmao... would have been low to medium if I had fully conformed to the standards of the scare factor
Viacom's V of Doom - low for the film version, none to minimal for the videotaped version. Some variants may be higher
Disney's Neon Mickey - low. Imo this one will at least be somewhat imposing but you can easily get over it. Minimal for the Italian verseion
Paramount's Closet Killer stage one - none
Paramount's Closet Killer stage two - minimal to low.
Paramount's Closet Killer stage three - low
to medium. The most dramatic one of all.

It's not scary to me at all. I think the music is a bit sad, but knowing that all they did was have the person stick their head through a hole, along with the rather neutral smile, it's not really nightmare fuel to me. I could see why it could be entirely creepy to some, though.
