I really think in double life the last few just weren't ready for dogs. They're a massive threat and need to be dealt with using the utmost care (and lava). In Secret Life especially you saw a lot of very targeted dog-culling specifically to prevent Pearl and the Roomies from walking into the finale with unstoppable dog armies
My favourite part HAS to be when Cleo says “you sound unhinged” and Pearl replies with “oh I’m doing just fine..” it sounds like she’s truely lost her mind like that is INSANE 3:32

This is probably their best work with these life series songs. All the lines chosen were a perfect match. They all added to the feel of what Double life was as a whole. None of the lines chosen were chosen merely for the rhyme. They were all very deliberate in serving to convey the main plot of Double life and the Life series as a whole. How can I explain best? …They kept the dialog focused on the main beats of the season. The soulmate pairings and then the major events, like the warden, the chaos between characters, and the scorned crazed soulmate Pearl coming out on top in the end. Then including all the demises for each pairing serves to progress the song to the end where Pearl comes out on top.
Pearl herself said it in the final episode. If I remember right she was sneaking up on B'Dubs at the time and started chanting it before he realised she was there, which directly led to B'Dubs panicking and letting out the "She's freakin crazy" line in response.
