    Just finished watching this . . . first video I see from this channel. Good speaking voice and presentation. I just saw a video earlier today where a top member of TH-cam leadership stated that they have a team affecting the TH-cam algorithm intentionally to serve up small channels at the forefront on people's feeds for greater discovery & is how I stumbled across this video. It just popped up, so good lookin' out, y'all.

      🤠🤠💕💕💕thank you so much ! I really appreciate the kind words. I have also a lot of handheld pc modding videos if your into handhelds as well, some of my mods have even been featured on gamers nexus.
      I do also have useful videos for desktop users also. I’m working on a video now where I’ve made a pretty wild trade and I think it’s going to shock people.
      I’ve always enjoyed just sharing my insights and being as helpful as I can to help people have the best experience possible with what they have and finding ways to improve it even further. I love being a smaller creator but it’s really awesome to see some growth and I’m thrilled to see TH-cam pushing smaller creators so we can get more exposure and reach new people who could find our tutorials and videos helpful.

      @@cppctek - Right on. If you're interested in the video I saw, search up a video on here titled "Good News For Small Creators . . ." uploaded by a channel called "Think Media" (2.96 m subs). The video has a thumbnail that says "New Algorithm Update". In this video, a clip was played where Todd Beaupré, the man behind TH-cam's Search and Algorithm team, was doing a Q&A (I believe) & there & then disclosed that there is an actual effort by TH-cam right now to algorithmically influence small channels to be served up more often and frequently at the forefront of people's YT feed for easier discovery. It's faster growth for you in viewership and money, and it's faster growth in money in ads for TH-cam, so essentially a win-win. The video's a good watch and you can pull some ideas or tips from there. Best wishes to you! To God be all the glory.

      They probably shipped with latest firmware which is awesome ! You can make sure it’s working in windows by going to display options and advanced display settings and see what refresh rate it shows for your glasses. It will be listed as how monitors are.
      Glad you enjoy them. ! They rock. Lmk if it shows 120hz also in display settings in windows on any windows pc or handheld. Also when you unplug or plug back up you have to usually make sure you toggle on 120hz again. It defaults to 60 when it gets unplugged.

  • @Optimus514

    What is the refresh rate in 3D mode? I can't find this spec anywhere. 3840 x 1080 x ????

    One thing worth noting about the myopia adjustments is even if you are within the -5 range on both of your eyes, unless both of your eyes are the same or very very close to the same prescription, you are better off getting the prescription lenses. Otherwise, the myopia dials at two different settings makes your display experience much worse. It might be in focus for each eye if you close one eye or another, but things just don't line up right if that makes sense.

      They are a little tight around the ears but I think it’s by design so they don’t move around buttttt. My heads about medium ish. Not smol but not lorge either. So your mileage may vary. • @cppctek
      @cppctek  หลายเดือนก่อน

      If your using the ally, you don’t need the dock but it helps with battery and also giving you some extra options but if you use the headset directly plugged into the ally as I showed it will take about 5-10% of the battery life away while it’s sending some power to the glasses but they make adapters that let you play and charge plugged in to wall or a battery bank. You said "unbiased" review, but there is a general consensus that all videos of tech that was provided by the company is biased even when claimed otherwise. It's the stigma that comes with it. I know you know the stigma is real because have to go out of your way to claim loudly and clearly that you're unbiased. lol I noticed that those reviewers who purchase the tech somehow seem to find more cons then those reviewers who were gifted the same tech. Odd, isn't it? Not that I am saying this is your case. Only saying that it's odd. Stigma stinks. . . it forms a stereotype unjustly.

      Well if you want I can point you to several negative reviews I’ve done with products sent over. I’m not afraid of speaking the truth. The glasses are awesome no matter if you hate it or not. Still doesn’t change the fact that I’m being honest about it.

I’m not that easily bought out lol 😆 now if you said you have a bag with 200k in it …. Maybe lol jk but some would probably do it. I’ve got way bigger goals here and I just enjoy pushing stuff I like and if something pops up that’s junk I won’t beat around the bush and say it’s the best like most youtubers. Too many others week after week say this and that is the best every week it’s a new best. As if stuff just keeps

      No money was sent. They sent the item to review. I disclosed this clearly in the video and description and by TH-cam standards. Are you assuming I’m going to sell them for payment ? You’re assuming the item itself automatically gets sold.
      Paid meaning 💰 cash money. Items themselves are just items but I still consider the video a sponsored video since the item was sent for review. Also most of your fav content creators fail to disclose anything at all because of judgmental people like this who come out of the woodworks to attack people who get sent items to review

    Just another shill video. You didn't even mention what others are complaining about: Spacewalker and how jittery the screen is.
    I've ordered a pair, not even from watching these videos. It's because I had last year's model and returned them. Hopefully, this pair impresses me. Otherwise, I saved $450.

    • @cppctek
      @cppctek  หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      1: not shilling at all! I did not get paid or was under any pressure to do the review.
      2: I have not had any jittery issues with the space walker app.
      3: there is a firmware update you have to do manually via a website to get 120hz mode enabled and then re enable it each time. (im making a video on that next to show the process)
      4: Most other reviewers said nothing but positive when i actually gave a few cons and was critical of the audio too.
      5: ive used the space walker app on both my iphone, ipad and android tablet and didnt have any jittery issues .
      6: as a tech creator if some one sends me something i will do a review and give you my opinion and findings, just because were positive doesn't mean were shilling necessarily if the product is good right?
      7: if no one did reviews, no one would know if something is good or not. You would have to resort to amazon reviews which as we know 99% of those are bots
      8: or youd have to resort to watching ai videos that just blast tech specs and never reply to comments lol
      9: Ive been critical of tons of products before so i can tell you for sure if something sucks ill let you know if i think it sucks
      10: i have tons of mod videos and new content coming but when companies want me to test things out for them in the background or fafo with something and give community feedback i most def will want to let people know about it
      i know some youtubers have burned the trust bridge who do constantly say everything is the best or say everything you wanna hear just in order to make sponsors happy but when i review something, i shouldnt pay the sins of the clowns out there lying should i? I can throw several people under the bus who do that in both the handheld pc space and tech space in general and it sucks because i can see straight through the choise of words they use when they dont like something or they are just forcing themselves to be positive, I can read liars like a book when others cant. Lying bothers me to the fullest and drives me insane because tons of tech youtubers do it. when some one says "this handheld is the best" and then the very next week have another handheld thats the best, how can every handheld be the best one after another? Just like when the claw came out.... did you see my claw review? i tore that thing to shreds meanwhile 90% of other people at first were trying to stay positive and were being far too kind about it.

    • @luche21
      @luche21 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@cppctek sorry... you say this is not paid, but i couldn't help think several times how this sounds entirely like a long commercial for the product. it very clearly sounds like you were given free equipment and paid to say positive things about their new product lineup.

    • @cppctek
      @cppctek  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @luche21 I can assure you I didn’t get a dime. I wrote my own script so the video was smooth and I had what I wanted to say laid out. Give me a lie detector test or dm me on discord. I’ll prove it. The one thing I’ll never do is lie about something like they. Yes I got to keep the product but that’s standard. I was under no pressure to even make a review. I didn’t sign any contracts or was coached. I wrote this entire thing by myself to help talk about a product I enjoy the hell out of. I’ve used this headset for two weeks every day.
      So do you want ai to just do reviews or do you trust Amazon bots? Why does every positive review have to be accused of being paid !!???? That’s not fair. At all zero. I’ve given plenty of things negative reviews that were sent to me I can easily go and show you. You’ve obviously not been watching me for a while or you’d never question my integrity!

    • @luche21
      @luche21 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@cppctek you make a lot of assumptions. i'm not saying that you're a liar, but your entire script sounds like an ad for the product, that's all. often times reviewers share goods and bads, yet this video is a constant stream of how everything is amazing. having tested the previous model, the glasses are physically super narrow to the point of looking ridiculous to wear, just go look at the models they chose on the product page. the glasses themselves don't fit super well and i constantly feel like i have to look down or mash the pads on my nose to see the screens directly... which leaves a mark after wearing. i was hoping the updated glasses (along with the blurry edge fix) would bring more adjustments and widen the nose bridge so they didn't look so goofy to wear...
      additionally, the magnetic connector seems like a nice idea, but in practice any slight nudge and you lose all of your current settings. needing to reattach often requires taking them off to reposition the connector correctly. it's also not a long enough cable, and connecting behind the right ear means running across your body to the left side of a macbook just to use SpaceWalker... which, is sorely lacking features in v1.1.1. it feels like a beta at best, and tech support was zero help for over a week of owning the previous gen glasses.
      additionally, you didn't even touch on the buttons themselves.. i know they've updated these to show on-screen levels... but the double/triple click actions are really annoying just to change volume. it's really unintuitive, and resets each time the headset is unplugged (no internal memory). i'm really hoping they make this better with a firmware update, if possible. honestly 1 more button would have made life so much better.
      then there's accessories... there's a bundled mess of things that don't come with the glasses in the box, and you need to spend considerable time researching which devices you want to use this with, to know what you need. i have zero interest in an android neck band, and the nintendo switch can't simply connect to the glasses... not to mention any device with one usb port can't charge while connected to these... means buying a usb splitter/adapter thing (likely their $60 device cause it's not clear if 3rd party accessories will work as intended), yet one more unexpected purchase unless you've planned ahead.
      i really hope they make new frames sooner than later, but what i can tell so far in their choice of marketing photos is that they're using the exact same frames, so i may just hold off ordering until they can sort these things out. honestly it's quite odd that your script, including quirks, didn't mention any of these things. this is why i felt like i was watching a commercial. i'm not mad, just surprised at how many things were missing with this shining review... i hope that helps.
