Hello friend 👋 I am a nurse in the US. I do alot of baking. You should not melt the butter. Just take out the amount you need and let it get soft (not melted). My chocolate chip cookie recipe is below. In a bowl, add... 1 cup of soft butter 🧈 1 cup white granulated sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (Mix these ingredients together well) Then add... 2 cups plus another 1/4 cup of ALL PURPOSE FLOUR (not self-rising. Use All purpose only) 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup chocolate chips or a little more if you want. Mix these ingredients all together very well. Preheat airfryer to 350° Roll the cookies into about 1" balls and put them on parchment paper in the airfryer. Only bake like 2 cookies at a time for 7 to 9 minutes. As long as you're using the right flour, they should flatten out. Ovens are always better, but airfryers work too, you just have to use a lower temperature. Oven cookies bake at 375°, but airfryer cookies bake at 350°. I hope this helps you make some yummy cookies. Remember, Do NOT melt the butter. Just let it be soft. Take care 😊
