First 3 albums are the best in my opinion, on the later albums they had a couple of good songs here and there.
yea I like them too...but Feral Roots is not only their best album from start the finish, it may be the best Rock album in the last 20 years or more. That is not to say the earlier work is not as good, they are very good. I have all their albums and I love them. Bands evolve and sort of change over time. It feels like Feral Roots sort of was composed differently in some way as an album. Hate the comparisons to Zep, however, Feral Roots is like putting on a Zep album (take your pick of any of the 1st seven...it does not really matter) and just listening to the whole thing and just completely digging it. I hope they keep growing, having fun, etc. and making more music. Feral Roots is a very very very special album.
It's a Tennessee thing: Hohenwald is pronounced "Hornwald". I think it's an attempt to retain the original German pronunciation.
Its funny. Musicians are supposed to be courageous. So long as they don't have to admit my part I guess.
