Baekhyun's dance in this song is so cool because when he auditioned to become an idol, he was so bad at dancing, rather than dancing, he clapped just to show he has rhythm. The thing I appreciate most about EXO is that SM prioritized vocal talent. You can teach a singer to dance well, it's much harder to teach a dancer to sing well, in my opinion. And that really worked out for them because arguably one of their weaker dancers (but easily one of their best singers) was up there with a great dance solo! For me EXO is the tip-top shelf of K-Pop talent.

Kai actually has the Main Dancer title in EXO, along with Lay. Sehun is Lead. It goes Main then Lead for dance postions. For vocals/rap its: Main, Lead and Sub. Atleast thats how it is in Kpop :)

Thx for the reaction, love it, the cool think about EXO's concerts is they never performe the same song in the same way as in the album or the previous concert, every time they add something new as remix, a dancing bridge, a new verse.... So they make every concert one of a kind, merci encore 💖
Lay did not leave EXO. Due to political issues between South Korea and China, Lay could not perform with EXO since 2018, especially since Lay was the Youth Ambassador of China and EXO is named Nation's Pick by Korea at the time. Therefore, Lay worked hard on solo projects and became one of China's top five artists. Lay is super huge in China and has opened several companies and one of them produces idols. Last year in April, Lay's contract with SM ended but he's still EXO. The political relationship between the 2 countries is slowly improving and Lay got to be in EXO's Don't Fight the Feeling album, a special album for the fans while we wait for them to complete their enlistment. DFTF was not an official comeback. There was no promotion at all as Chanyeol and Baekhyun almost immediately enlisted after recording the album.
Lay not top 5 he is 1… and he was listed as only artist in China Forbes… as artist he is number 1 best selling and most streaming in China and even his movies and yg series also number 1 there… so not top5 he is officially top 1
You are correct that Lay did not leave EXO. Lay was not allowed to perform with EXO because of political issues between South Korea and China. The issues and hostilities between China & So Korea since the THAAD missile defense system supplied by the USA. In 2017. It shut down tourism to South Korea, restricted the South Korean entertainment sectors access to-the Chinese market, and banned the sale of certain Korean products. Because Lay was the Youth Ambassador of China he was not allowed by China as a Citizen of China to perform with a South Korean group.

Kai is a whole other level when performing, but they all love what they do and that joy combined with the talent takes these concerts to heights others only dream of.
You might like the Lightsaber, Transformer, Overdose set or The Eve and Forever, but to be honest, any live performance is good. It is better to watch the sets of linked songs rather than individual songs, but anything live by them is awesome. Choose a song you like or math the energy/ mood of a performance to what you'd like to experience.
I love the way you talk about Kai's dancing! That's 100% how I feel watching him dance - he gives it that extra something that comes across so powerfully. My other favorite dancer in kpop is Taemin (I recommend watching his recent MV "Guilty" as well as live performances of "Move" and "Criminal")
This was their opening at Exoplanet #3 The EXO'rDIUM w/c ran from July 2016 to May 2017. This one in particular was held in Tokyo Dome, said to be world's largest roofed stadium, & EXO was the first Kpop act to perform & first group to sold out 5 times in a row. EXO'rDIUM won Best Concert at the 2017 EDaily Culture Awards. This was one concert where Kai had an ankle injury & was unable to perform for the first 3 months. Lay personally didn't leave the group but he ended his contract w/ SME in 2022 so we can't expect him joining EXO activities (though it was already tough for him w/ the Korea- China issues, he couldn't join EXO activities regularly). Suho is definitely one strong vocalist. He's also a musical theater performer, just finished Mozart, The Musical in Aug. EXO's live performances are the best. EXO is simply a cut above the rest. SUHO and XIUMIN are the glue that bind!! The others are are all magnificent and so may take the limelight but EXO's cohesion, EXO's sound is brought together by our two oldest!!!!!

This remix of Wolf made me finally “get” Wolf. This performance…I mean to even conceive it and think it could be executed so flawlessly during a 3 hour concert during a world tour, to me just says…yes, because they had Exo’s talent to play with.
I’ve watched, and rewatched this stage so many times now, and that tiny break in Baekhyun’s voice, and the sheer force of control to bring it back on track, just gets more awesome, each time.

21:03 no there's studio version of this extended version sadly. It was made specifically for this performance as far as I know. This performance of Wolf would forever remain iconic and goes to show how Exo always perform live and nail it. They're actually one of the rare groups who sound better on live than in studio versions.

Suho has a solo album that is sooo smooth. He’s also performed in at least two musicals: The Man Who Smiled & Mozart. I’ve heard two of his Mozart songs and they are beautiful. In The Man Who Smiled he has a mesmerizing song, that’s been featured on many talk shows. I think everyone except Sehun has a solo out.
There are two sub units of EXO: SC is Sehun and Chanyeol. CBX is Chen, Baekyun, and Xiumin. It’s a real treat to watch any of those performances.
I do like Kai and he is also many dancers idol. One, who is also good friends with Kai is Taemin of Shinee. His choreography is breathtaking and so unique.
In the whole world of dance, only Lay can beat Kai , both of them are amazing.
Lay is amazing and I love him but he can’t beat Kai . over all Kai is a trained dancer with ballet, Jazz and contemporary training since childhood.
@@sistajacquiB to be fair...hiphop/popping/bboy/krump, etc. (Masculine) dances, Lay is quite on edge than Kai, what of him contending with international dancers and choreographers in street dance - he only was not always shown in EXO performances so you can't really tell...for Kai tho, he has more charisma in his performances esp. in contemporary and his dances have a mix of the femininity but not like Taemin in his dances...Kai always ATE the songs he chose to dance...
Kai's expressions and artistic moves yesss. Flow and different techniques Lay. And if i have to choose anyone above them it is Taemin. I am exol but Shinees dance line is crazy too.

I don’t see many comments about Lay/Yixing, so I’ll say he’s an amazing artist, he works in his homeland China rn, he’s a really huge artist there, he’s a producer, singer, dancer, actor and CEO of his very own entertainment company called Chromosome ent. If you ever feel like reacting to him or just watching something of him on your own, I recommend LIT, VEIL and the dance practice for Flying Apsaras, tysm for the reactions!!
The Tree symbolizes the tree of Life! It was said in the MAMA mv.
The tree is the tree of life. Is part of EXO lore. They are aliens with superpowers that were sent to earth by their Mama (Majesty) to protect us from the evil of the red forces that try to destroy the heart of the tree of life and take EXO's superpowers.

I am not a fan of kpop before I discovered EXO❤️👑 They are just so talented individually🥰❤️
Lay didn't leave the band, his schedules with Exo were on hold due to political conflicts for 4-5 years until he finally was able to do one album with thr group "Don't Fight the Feeling" which wasn't even a official comeback but just the members' surprise for fans. After that Lay's contract expired which he didn't renew with the company. Same thing happened with D.O. this year. Although both are no longer SM artists but they are still Exo members and can join in any comeback that they wish to join. Lay is actually one of the top Cpop artist currently. He has his company "Chromosome entertainment" where he trains artists, his songs are always in top charts and he's one of the top idol dancer.
Lay didn't leave EXO just Leave SM same like D.O. in this years leave SM. LAY and D.O. for now they have own company. Please check Lay music too, he is very talented person that i know in this industry btw. LAY can create, producer, play instrument, good dancer too, for to much information that Lay give free event fans meeting for his fans in 3 country. 14:57 I think he had enough fine parts but yeah they're never highlighted, Suho is often considered as part of the main vocal line even though he's the lead vocalist, same with Xiumin and Lay. Suho's vical techniques are really amazing while Xiumin and Lay's range are really high. For Suho I'd recommend to check out "Starry Night", for Xiumin I'd recommend "Don't Go" solo performance and for Lay I'd recommend "Lose Control" (live would be better).

Lay always remains a part of EXO. Due to the conflict between Korea and China, he could not advance with the band, but supported and appeared in the video as much as possible, Tempo and Don't fight the feeling. Last year or, if I remember correctly, Yixing's contract with the company came to an end, and he said that he was not leaving the group, and that if his brothers needed help, he would always help. I understand what you mean 10:00 but Exo (their company more likely) is strict about concept the dark lightning over dark costumes actually makes sense for their Monster concept but yeah as you said, the drawback is that their perfect leg moments are hidden in that lightening as a result.

When I first started listening to EXO's songs, Suho's voice was the last one I recognized. I was so surprised when I learned that I mostly mistaken his parts as Chen's.

Thanks for this reaction. Speaking of dancers, you'll have to check out Taemin from SHINee. He's also a soloist. He and Kai are pals. Taemin's been heavily influenced by MJ, and that's evident in many of his choreos, like Danger. For me, Taemin and Kai are right up there, and then there is Shownu from Monsta X. Totally different style but a mesmerising dancer as well. Hope you could react to some SHINee and Monsta X soon. Thanks again!

If you can dance then you are a dancer, if you can dance and have distinct style then you are an excellent dancer but if you can dance distinctly in different genre ~ then you are the BEST and that's KAI for me.

Agree about Kai. He's not my bias but the dude's got the it factor when it comes to performing. You can teach the steps to any idols but he makes it MORE. He injects that primal charisma even though the moves deem elegant/feminine that's why he's the one with the most viral stuff in kpop.
Take another more famous idol that made "kpop" dancing seem -> fruity to the uninitiated. No matter how hard that idol/s try their moves appear lacking that animal drive they just come out like kids performing at a school function. Very bad "rep" for kpop dancing/singing when that group fronts kpop for the rest of the world 💀
