The unexpected key changes are an absolutely fantastic way to put a fresh spin on such a widely remixed song. I also don't know why it's so fun to see the silhouette bop along to the beat, but I really enjoy that it does.

Found this through Jan Misali! I really fucking love the key changes at the end of the chorus (they remind me a bit of the music of Risk of Rain?) and this Vocaloid/Utauloid is so good! She's got such good range and she can go so deep! I've gotta give her a shot at some point. Love the slides and tuning you did btw -- it sounds super expressive and natural

I like the detail of using the Japanese instead of the wonky romaji, it gives the visuals an air of professionalism. Rip if you’re not good with kanji though
tbh its actually a surprisingly simple song in regards to the kanji maybe aside from 目蓋 but thats only word i wouldnt expect a beginner to know tbh. This song could be a pretty good learn from i think. Also death to romaji lmao

tbf japanese is really easy to listen to so you can easily just type in the sounds into wiktionary and get the stuff from there
@@Sqone1 I’d say that depends, what if it’s a bunch of kanji in a row, for example, how do you know which part is which? That’s the problem I ran into. If you’re actually interested in learning kanji I recommend searching using radicals (the parts that make up kanji) using sites like Jisho, it’s quite visually apparent so using it isn’t that much slower!
@@Sqone1 That depends tbh most people when they're learning just listen to anime the news and other TV shows and music like these are great but most of the time these are scripted and these actors/seiyuus usually have very clear pronounciation, but like listening to real people speak can be pretty difficult at times sometimes they speak fast or they say things weirdly.
going from Ebm to Bm is just genius, the B in the melody resolving to Bb as the 5th in Ebm. Just when you expect it to sound dissonant, the key itself resolves. it's so sick.

I teared up listening to this only because i was briefly transported back to 8th grade when i used to listen to this and various vocaloid covers of it on repeat until i could nail the lyrics. Patricia’s highly distinctive style combined with the familiarity of the song is quite an experience. Please never stop making music patricia!!!

i am quite literally only 50 seconds in and this is by far my favorite cover of Bad Apple, your tuning of Una is fantastic and the music is just gorgeous.

This is fantastic! Just three little pronunciation things, a couple of which might just be the way Una pronounces things?
- 流され続けて: 続けて sounds like “tsukukete” instead of “tsuzukete”
- 夢見てる？: 見てる sounds like “mitaru” instead of “miteru”
- 今切ないの？今悲しいの？: 今 sounds like “ama” instead of “ima”
This isn’t to be like “wow this sucks” because the remix and the cover are really awesome!! I just wanted to let you know what I thought I heard for your future reference or whatever, and if I’m wrong totally call me out on that, lol ^_^
I also heard them and the corrections are also right. Despite the errors in the vocals, this is still one hell of a banger and I've been listening to it on loop for the past few days! The reharmonizations are so good ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Thank you for pointing this out, I was just going back to the original song and double checking pronunciation guides to see if I was crazy or wrong before commenting about it myself. Of course the song still slaps regardless of the mispronunciations.

yeah, sorry, I was following a dodgy romaji transcription of the song & trying to AB it with the pretty drowned out original vocal, there were gonna be some mistakes.
I expected it to be more similar to the original, i love the uniqueness of this cover!

I really like the changes you made including the key changes. It adds contrast in a way that still fits in and doesn't feel jarring while adding a new spin to it as a remix. I need to start seriously trying to make music and stuff.
