I prefer this model GTK-XB60 as portability much better than its big brother xb90 less powerful than its older brother but is a sony product of good price quality.
This model even tho is not as powerful as its bigger brother. U honestly wouldn't notice a huge difference. It's like a Sony xbox 30 to a xb 40. It's worth it, and it has last me a long time
Is this a stereo speaker? In horizontal mode how is the sound projected with those 2 tweeters in the same position? Is it conected 1 tweeter and 1 woofer for each channel?
I own an XB60 but I'd hardly call it the best sounding Bluetooth speaker of all time. For the price I paid for it (AUD$239) it's decent, but I wouldn't pay the retail price of AUD$499 for it. I wish it was less hassle to turn off the lights when I don't need them to save battery life. The speaker lacks crispness and clarity but it's perfect for using at a party under the pergola. The extra bass is overdone and I prefer to use it with it swished off. I don't regret paying $239 for this speaker but I'd never pay $499 for it.

I went into best buy, 1st listened to the Sony, it blew me away and btw, didn't even consider this brand, was too busy considering the JBLS or the LG. So than I go over to the JBLS, and neither the 300 or the 100 had the same clean clear loud bass and balanced un-colored sound. THe JBL seemed to be harsh on the treble and I didn't hear much bass. Than again a cult member (the salesmen) was advising me to consider the JBLs, I said "yeah I know the JBLS are way more popular, but I've just listened with my own ears and the Sony sounded much better". I can also remember when disco was very popular.
Well the jbl is louder and the lights are better. I honestly wish I had the JBL cuz the bigger version i think the 300 has better bass, cuz it has a subwoofer. The sony is amazing, but I think if I had to choose. I might consider the JBL, wish I could review that for u guys. But I'm poor lol

One thing that disturbed me about the Sony X60 is how many I saw for sale on ebay that were "no sound, for parts or repair only". Also Sony chose not to include a 3.5 mm. input. I'm fanatical enough to try out the Sony at home, I'm aware that the sound sample at the store might not be definitive due to their programed EQ settings and the music they choose, plus in the store it is intimidating to really blast it on max. The size of the JBL 100 is about the same as the Sony but the jbl 300 is about 7" greater. All that said, I'm kinda drifting toward the ION Road Warrior @ $266 shipped because many vids here proclaim it is one of the 5 loudest out there, I've never seen the JBL 300 in any "loudest" bluetooth compilation.

I like sony i mean i have a sony shake x70 and its gr8 but joh i bought a 450w JBL soundbar and it blows the x70 out of my house😂. Get XB7, it's better then the XB90. I had both and XB7 sounded much better. I regret it everyday by selling it to a friend. He loves that thing lol, his a basshead.
