I know it from a friend. I'm not in IITH right now but I'm aiming for it. Since this is a new campus and the architect is USA claimed and pune based, the campus is very efficient.
Being a final year student at one of the old IITs, I can tell you that this video cannot be farther from the truth. People at IITs do much more interesting things than just assignments, and not just on weekends but every day. And our days don't end at 12 at night. That's way too early.

U can crack JEE studying 3-5 hours a Day but you need to solve the tough problems which are interconnected.First learn mathematics at high standard not like formulas but derive and learn and then physics and chemistry first learn concepts.let's take Newton's laws of motion.If you don't the know exacts reaction forces you make equation and the put the fit in an equation and simple JEE is done.If you mugup formulas particularlg organic most of them mugup cengags reaction then you are digging your own pit.Hope you will be ok.U need good teacher for understanding concepts in-depth and buy today it's difficult to find a good teacher.So become eklavya and crack JEE all the best

I still watch this old sankho...it reminds me of the phase when I studied after getting motivated by him,started waking up at 4 am, completing my tasks and sleep at 9 pm. I followed this routine for a month, but then I got distracted due to many reasons, and up till now I haven't reached back to that square, I am unable to ...even when I try my best

Well, just watch one video lecture out of the NPTL mission where lectures from across Indian universities and STEM Institutes are archived and then watch the same lecture at MIT open- course ware. Quality will speak for itself.
