- This is a video log of the BSA Owners' Club re-introduced National Weekend and Open Day in 2024 following the break caused by COVID. This was held at a new venue - Spalding RUFC grounds in Lincolnshire. There were many highlights during the weekend, one being an AVRO Lancaster. It's a long one as well so sit back, relax, turn up the volume and enjoy!

Many thanks Phil - appreciate work gets in the way but hope you can make it sometime to one of the club events in The Star.
What a great bunch of bikes!
Indeed - a nice mix. Thanks for the interest and comment.
What a great bonus to the weekend, getting on board the Lanc. 👍
Yes it was Martin - unbelievable luck. Apparently the cancellation was so late because the moron that had the place thought it was two days later! Thanks for the interest and comment.
@@BSAPowerSet lol, he needs to get a better diary. I liked how you didn’t hang about when you heard of the possible vacancy.
Looks like you had a marvellous long weekend ! Me and my brother were set to come along for the open day but we didn’t want to set off in the wet. There were quite a few heavy downpours around here on Sunday but it looks like your weather was a bit better. Never mind, I was pretty sure you’d film all the bikes for us anyway !
Hi Stew - yea we were luckier than some with the weather but we did ride in some light rain on the way back to the site on the run. Yes - the Power Set got wet! Tragedy!
Looks like a nice weekend!!
It was a great weekend Matt thanks.
Great weekend, mate. Fancy having a go at putting two wheels and handlebars on a Merlin????
Thanks Phil. I'll leave the Merlin project to Allen Millyard.
Quite jealous of you getting on the Lanc. I've been to that museum but it was in the hanger that day for maintenance. And I've seen a picture of a bicycle with two Cyclemasters fitted, yes, two wheel drive!
Sorry Andrew I was very very lucky with the Lancaster. I should think a twin Cyclemaster bicycle would go quite well!
Nice video, they let Enfields and Yamahas into a BSA club run, what is the world coming to !!😂 how brave were those airmen flying at night, while being shot at in those bombers, built more like trucks than planes, god rest all their souls
Many thanks Robert. Interlopers indeed. Yes whilst on the Lanc, we were discussing how those crewmen in the war - all of them probably late teens/early twenties. One anecdote from one of the pilots on the day was that sometimes the tail gunner would have to endure a 10 hour mission at temps down to -30C due to the air vents in the pod. Unbelievable.
