this show should be legendary by now. It is the only one of its kind. No other company that I know of produced such a big series of well commented and very entertaining, professionally produced HS tournaments with our favorite streamers and commentators.
I love these series, I just wish that these were aired closer to when they were made, because this is being played on such an old patch that a lot of the meta discussion is no longer relevant
RIP Freeze Mage. Her reign of terror over Fight Night has come to an end. Hopefully the next season will actually get shown before any more balance changes come out that drastically shift the meta.
Game 1 I think Gnimsh could have used Power Overwhelming on his frozen Sylvannas and then used Soulfire on the Novice Engineer. This would kill Sylvannas at the end of the turn and guarantee that it steals the opposing Mountain Giant.
saveumberto sorry bro but they are the pro players. I think I trust what they are saying. and yeah now after the patch hunter are a lot better. still a horrible hero ability. mage, druid, preist, anything that can help control the board is the better ones.
Round 3 for Gnimsh in the first game couldn't he have killed the doomsayer? 2 damage from the voidwalker and blood imp, 1 from shattered sun cleric's buff, and 4 from soulfire, 2+1+4=7. Am I missing something? ...since Gnimsh, Frodan and Artosis missed it.
Woody I disagree on it being too much value for a doomsayer. He lost the void walker and the blood imp by doing nothing which is a doomsayer 2 for 1. If he did what I proposed he still would 2 for 1'd himself with soul fire but he would have significantly developed his board with a buffed creature, kept another alive, and a shattered sun cleric. Therefore the value lost is the same either way (2 for 1) but one leads to significantly more board development.
if he played cleric and soulfire he would have had a 50% chance to lost leeroy which is the card that gave him 2 wins vs monk in the previous episode. That is too big of a gamble just to stop a doomsayer. AND doomsayer really was played at that point to stop direct dmg, so if he had killed it then strifecro still had nova and CoC in his hand to stop any aggression the next few turns, which should be expected when fighting frozen giants.
seriously they should just be esgn team 1 and esgn team 2, so people would understand the reality and trickery going on with these guys. this whole thing is perfect example of not what you know but who you know. these foreigners that are connected behind the scenes are going to try and take a monopoly on all esports if they can(outside korea) which has plenty of potential considering esports isnt that big nor broad in terms of games in korea or anywhere yet.
After watching all of this season i have come to the conclusion that the game is more luck based than skill. In pretty much every game the one who won had a forced win, they had the better hand most of the game. When there is little between them in skill it's so luck dependent. Next at blizzcon and other big tourny's games need to be best of seven or nine.
After watching one or two of these I came to the realization that this is done badly, whoever is in charge of this needs to get fired or start over from scratch. It's done WAY too cheesy, cheesy enough that it becomes a joke in of itself ( girls that hold cards for rounds.. srsly ). Everything is done wrong. You should've kept it simple and live.
also they obviously shoot MAD "episodes" in 1 day, they havent learned all the magic trickery of television, which is giving them away. prolly like 1 week of recording a bunch of stuff with friends claiming to be top in the world and having real battles for "real money" so ppl dont suspect what i do. that white suit is so disgusting and tacky, much like artosis early 2000's style BoxeR getup with the random patches everywhere...
group of 30 or so foreign "esports" gamers that cover all the major "esports" games, shoot all the eps for all the games for a whole season in a few days, claim lots of prize pools etc.... wow just crazy what is possible really, and ALL of it to be a lie..... this MUST have happened plenty in esports at times.... these guys just taking it to next level, full on monopoly.
also i assume the teams involved are directly involved with esgn? because same 2 teams both seasons and i dont think in any way you can say they are the best 8 players, maybe ONE of them is in top 8 potentially, just way too many good players and games hugely based on luck/rng anyways..... say this because artosis left a lot of stuff behind for this crap, assume their teams are a huge part of this whole EGSN thing, self promoting as top 8 players in the world, basically they are hijacking esports especially for hearthstone.
example: i host a tourney with 16 of my friends, claim that its a chinese/canadian/european tournament me and friends put together searching for unknown players that REALLY deserve the shot, so all 16 players no one knows who they are(they are all actually just friends not OVERLY GOOD either, low master enough that 90% of viewers wont second guess or catch on, just like this "top 8 players" for HS) and for my example say its a 50,000 dollar grand pot, despite all being no names, i bet id get A LOT of viewers, but i could start this off small, tiny tournies to get a name going, then when i get some viewership going, host fake "noname up and comer" tournies with huge fake pots just to give my friends publicity and get me MASS viewers and attention. like it can be much more complicated and shady, i could write a massive paper on how to create a total fraud successful "esports" channel. that inevitably could move me into the "legit" scene with connections only to host even more and more fake tourneys in cahoots with groups of players. (i can get you mass viewers and your name known with 1 out of 16 players actually known to help sell it, tell the viewers its for madddd money and players know its just for publicity, insider deals/trades)
like think of the "prize" money doesnt really have to exist if these 2 teams are basically esgn themselves. thats also why they all cycle as casters aswell, beefing their "careers" in anyway they can with a complete monopoly over the whole channel. if season 3 is the same 8 players/2 teams again then ill know 100% for sure i am correct about this. its bascially a conspiracy. they could say 50,000 dollar grandfinal tourney and twitch would get like 40k viewers for that tourney, yet that 50gs doesnt even exist its these 2 teams that ARE esgn just playing eachother and then get MASSSSS subs and donations and ad revenue from "fake" tournaments.... ive come to a crazy realization because of this.... be so easy to scam so hardcore with this "esports" scene, always felt sketchy as to why ppl tried to promote esports so much, because "THEY ARE ESPORTS" but esports isnt them. they just want money for themselves, dont give 2 craps about esports as a whole, just THEIR esports..... ppl who understand and can follow this will prolly jaw drop just like i did when i realized this is possible....
just have to say i know a lot of these guys were friends/known each other before HS, almost like the game came out they got behind scenes came up with this whole scam where they would be their own gamers/casters/everything. self promote, self claim, fraud the whole thing basically by making it seem "legit". if everyone knew and understood what ive come to realize about this channel many ppl would boycott it and start uproars in the WHOLE esports community..... not a good sign for the future of esports. just like everything in the world, through tricky and shady doings, ppl basically illegally get a monopoly on a area of the economy.
the more i think of it this whole esgn thing is very cheesy, awkward and very distasteful in many ways... mostly because they are REALLY trying to hijack esports for their own personal benefit, they couldnt care less about esports, they just care about ESGN now.
Artosis is such a great commentator... He speaks loud, clear and articulate. He's top-notch.
He voicecracks so many times though.
this show should be legendary by now. It is the only one of its kind.
No other company that I know of produced such a big series of well commented and very entertaining, professionally produced HS tournaments with our favorite streamers and commentators.
comme le vent rito pls.
what, what.
I mean what I said.
I love these series, I just wish that these were aired closer to when they were made, because this is being played on such an old patch that a lot of the meta discussion is no longer relevant
***** Next season started recording just as patch hit, so it's gonna be kinda relevant
15:02
So Rogues also have Fireblast?
RIP Freeze Mage. Her reign of terror over Fight Night has come to an end. Hopefully the next season will actually get shown before any more balance changes come out that drastically shift the meta.
Typo in description, "...features thew same..." should be "the"
And it is Team "Praise Ragnaros" at the moment so please fix :)
8:49 power overwhelming his own sylvana's and soulfire the 1 2 minion... common sense
This is the cheesiest shit ever haha.
ikr
I'm so sad this series is over for now, I wish we could see this kind of Pro HS games more often.
man strifecro is just sick, look forward to watching more games from that guy
I love StrifeCro.
Game 1 I think Gnimsh could have used Power Overwhelming on his frozen Sylvannas and then used Soulfire on the Novice Engineer. This would kill Sylvannas at the end of the turn and guarantee that it steals the opposing Mountain Giant.
Exactly, he could not afford taking that second hit from the Giant, and getting it himself would've helped a lot.
Dayum, this series is pretty epic.
And this is why Mage got a huge fucking nerf ...
StrifeCro's victory animation was hilarious
this is some pretty cool stuff. I do however feel like the two girls and the dog is out of place? haha.
This was played before the mage freeze nerf patch. Really frustrating to be on the receiving end.
I love how Nyhx gives massages to gnimsh xD
15:03
> The Mage Hero Power is Fireblast. Valeera does 1 damage to any character she chooses...
> Valeera does 1 damage...
> VALEERA!
Goddamn.
gnimsch goes in for the handshake and strifecro grabs his thumb. Lol'd
Dont know if someone notice, but at 15:00 they mistake Jaina for Valeera on the writen facts, just saying =)
how did the token survive blizzard @ 35:25
It didn't survive blizzard. The harvest golem died, causing its deathrattle to take effect. What you see is the damaged golem.
The Harvest Golem got killed by the Blizzard, and the creature that u saw was his Deathrattle
***** Volkan Cakal Oh nvm i forgot there was two of them. One of them did die to Blizzard. (The token after he fireball/blizzard).
Why do you call it Hammer of Fate? lol. It's definitely Hammer of Wrath, but you've said "Fate" at least 3 times over these episodes
11:45 2 frostbolts + fireblast and next turn it's GG. Grimsh couldn't really do anything because of the ice block
Why is Gnimsh constantly missing the Sun Cleric Soulfire combo?
Kripp and Artosis should be commentating in place of Frodan..
Gnimsh - You got Gnimshd!!
Wrekt. I dont get why gnimsh decided trading early against a giants deck was a good idea in round 3. He did strifecro's job for him.
15:02 you mean Jaina...
10:36 Power overwhelming sylvanas, run Leeroy into the engineer, soulfire the hoarder, get a mountain giant.
StrifeCro is too good :D
15:06 it says valeera, but thats the rogue not the mage D: valeera cant use fireblast pfft
dat awkward handshake lol
I can see why pyroblast was nerfed.
Although I love Trump, and I wanted him to win, I really like Atrosis and his commentary is great.
lol @ StrifeCro's pit sweat
Haven't watched the video yet, but from the length I'm 90% sure Gnimsh is about to 3-0.
couldn't have been wronger...
lamest handshake ever at the end of the third game xD
Hunter still sucks? Unleash the hounds is so fucking sick.
please shut up, that was like month ago, and way before the patch where UTH got buffed
SenninxD Even before that it was kind of alright. The mana cost just made it kind of ridiclious.
saveumberto sorry bro but they are the pro players. I think I trust what they are saying. and yeah now after the patch hunter are a lot better. still a horrible hero ability. mage, druid, preist, anything that can help control the board is the better ones.
Even though they made it 3 mana now :(
***** Fucking justice has been served.
lmao this host.. 3:17 cold of cone..
Definitiv die Schönheit mit den braunen Haaren ;-D
holy shit Artosis is like 30 he does look 18 yet
Round 3 for Gnimsh in the first game couldn't he have killed the doomsayer? 2 damage from the voidwalker and blood imp, 1 from shattered sun cleric's buff, and 4 from soulfire, 2+1+4=7. Am I missing something? ...since Gnimsh, Frodan and Artosis missed it.
He could, but that's too much value from a Doomslayer.
Well you can just try to predict how would things go if he didn't do that, but to be honest you can think about like that for almost every move.
if he played cleric and soulfire he would have had a 50% chance to lost leeroy which is the card that gave him 2 wins vs monk in the previous episode. That is too big of a gamble just to stop a doomsayer. AND doomsayer really was played at that point to stop direct dmg, so if he had killed it then strifecro still had nova and CoC in his hand to stop any aggression the next few turns, which should be expected when fighting frozen giants.

thats what you get for spammin well met!
Too bad gnimsh didn't power overwhelming the Sylvannas and soulfire the novice engineer on turn 6.
Not a single warrior deck in alle those episodes...
Stop bitching, you're here for the games.
focus on what fight night is here for...the games are for the most part pretty good, even if praise ragnaros is the by far better group...
44:38 - Lovely juice.
Ekop is a total dillweed but the rest of the crews, both NA and EU are actually quite nice people it seems.
swag
Kripp might not shave but Strifecro wins once again this time in hygiene 44:38
I can see why pyroblast was nerfed. Not that Gnimsh deserved to win, that was just poor play, but still.
13:00 bobies xd
It is the fith where is the games
jump to 45:09 and look at Kripp and that bashful girl checking him out! Kripp's first female victim! :)
Watch in 1080 and look at her eyes! Damn!
i hope artosis makes a lot of money wearing that jacket cause it looks fucking terrible
why does nyhx keep touching gnimsh
praise ragnaros won a ton more money overall lol
Btw dudes just so you all know frozen giant mage deck ain't op.
also they obviously shoot MAD "episodes" in 1 day, they havent learned all the magic trickery of television, which is giving them away. prolly like 1 week of recording a bunch of stuff with friends claiming to be top in the world and having real battles for "real money" so ppl dont suspect what i do. that white suit is so disgusting and tacky, much like artosis early 2000's style BoxeR getup with the random patches everywhere...
strifecro looks cute, lol
Dan is still pissing me off, he knows nothing about this game.
group of 30 or so foreign "esports" gamers that cover all the major "esports" games, shoot all the eps for all the games for a whole season in a few days, claim lots of prize pools etc.... wow just crazy what is possible really, and ALL of it to be a lie..... this MUST have happened plenty in esports at times.... these guys just taking it to next level, full on monopoly.
Good thing this stupid shit cost 10 mana now
wtf, euros? lol. thanks
Hate Stifecro, he go for the easy option by playing mage and giants
It's like he wants to win.
This frodan guy, doesnt actually know anything, he just simply repeats what they say and then they agree.
also i assume the teams involved are directly involved with esgn? because same 2 teams both seasons and i dont think in any way you can say they are the best 8 players, maybe ONE of them is in top 8 potentially, just way too many good players and games hugely based on luck/rng anyways..... say this because artosis left a lot of stuff behind for this crap, assume their teams are a huge part of this whole EGSN thing, self promoting as top 8 players in the world, basically they are hijacking esports especially for hearthstone.
