Do you know any cheaper or alternative screen replacement for iPad Pro 12.9 2017? Or are other generations compatible? I don’t understand why the 2017s are more expensive that others
Reasons why apple sucks 1. Preventing software downgrades on iphones by not allowing unsigned ipsws to be installed on iphones. 2. Making Photos Libraries incompatible on different mac os (forcing you to purchase icloud to transfer photos libraries 3. Remotely Disabling and Bootlooping iphones on older ios forcing them to update and erase the phone. 4. Not allowing newer backups to be restored to older macos/ios. On mac os you would have to restore everything manually. 5. Disabling older applications that use internet once newer versions are available that are only compatible with newer OS forcing you to update.
There's another reason why you won't like LCD-based replacement panels: they draw even more power due to the use of a backlight, putting your device at risk of getting gradually fried.
I expect that he gives people the choice. Cheap screen or refurbished genuine Apple screen, where he sends off screens from prior repairs to be re-glassed.
I know how to replace a bit of parts but I didn’t know where to get a good screen. I bought an apple renewed from Amazon and it was not in excellent condition. Bumps around the frame, scratched back glass, replaced screen, 83 percent battery life, my sister iPhone XR has 88 and that things beat to shit, and the people were not good and did not answer any of my questions. The phone kept getting that the screen wasn’t fake or wasn’t in right. Thanks man
My screen is a replacement OLED cost me 210 pounding to have it replaced. After that I never went without a case until I stupidly put a flimsy case on because it was thinner dropped. My phone cracked the bottom bit of my screen so I went out and bought it an excellent case. When I get my new phone on Wednesday I will be putting a screen protector on and buying an excellent case right away.
For those who didn't notice Even you phonerepairguru The aftermarket screen has an ever so slightly bigger lower chin and the bezels are not fully symetrical
Just my opinion, but I think the oem screen should be in the middle might give you a better close proximity to compare vs looking over the other screen which might fuck u up when you compare if that makes sense 😂
REWA Technology have a TH-cam channel where they demonstrate repair and upgrades of Apple iPhones. My personal favorite video of theirs is the replacement of an eSIM with physical SIM tray adapter.
Yeah 1/2 the reason I bought a 14 pro max is the 2000 nit display I can actually see in Australian sun (1750 nits on the s22/23 ultra was too dim to see and I was severely dissatisfied after TH-camrs said “ohhh you can easily see the 1750nit display without squinting and then I actually got them and it was dim af) I ain’t going anywhere but Apple Original displays Edit: you also can’t see the 1500 nit pixel 7 Pro Display or the 1600 nit MacBook Pro 14/16 display either, only on the 14 pro/max and Apple Watch ultra
i am absolutely ok with stuff like this, its not a replica, its a purposeful emulation, its not trying to pass off as the original, its a result of necesity
I found a site which sells refurbished original apple displays for cheaper than the worst new apple display… now I don’t care about new screens anymore😂
Technically Any Companies with ability to manufacture replicas of apple screen can make a screen with Dynamic Island or even full screen For an old I phone
But what’s the cost? I purposely have an older iPhone because I can buy replacement screens off eBay for dirt cheap. I just needed to replace the screen and when I did I bought two replacement screens for $30. Now I don’t have to wait a couple days for a new screen to come in.
$64 isn’t bad for a 12 pro max screen. I’ve been looking for an inexpensive screen replacement because I dropped my phone and there’s a line across the screen that doesn’t recognize touch but the screen isn’t cracked or anything and there’s no dark spots
It probably is. But just rebranded Dunkin' donuts does that with their coffee it's Folgers coffee but they just rebrand it to Dunkin' donuts coffee I have had a Dunkin' donut employee told me that's what they do.

Rewa do some awesome motherboard repair guides. Bit pricey but if you wanna go professional they are excellent to learn from

REWA is a fantastic company their repair videos are godly
You already know Apple… don’t let them see this or they gonna be charging you to upgrade from an LCD to an OLED in the future…
They did that in 2017 with the iPhone X, bumped the price from $699 to $999, but Face ID was also extremely expensive to produce
all their phones are OLED except the SE

Just find a reputable supplier in your region for parts, in Australia a company called the refurb lab is the best in my opinion

Anyone gunna talk about how smooth that scissor flip was
Can u do a video on how batteryes say theyre like 7500 but r really 4200
That scissor thing was slick ngl
YESS THE EPIC SCISSORS
I’m going to use these in my shop!
Well if u turn on true tone only on “other” and use same display for “repart” and “apple”. Yeah you will feel your branded display is best
Can you test Rewa batteries please? For instance, make replacement and check the current draw after a full charge to see their actual capacity.

How’s the power draw and touch responsiveness on the Repart in comparison to the other screens
I have a replacement oled screen on my iPhone 11 Pro that has a slight delay when I touch the display. Hopefully these are much more touch responsive.
PRG is turning into ninja day by day
Holy sh*t, that's life changing
I can recommend NCC Displays

Why is nobody talking about how the phone batter was at 8%

They don't deliver to the UK😪
You should do this for the s22 - s24 line up

They are cheaper too!!
If only they made Macbook screen replacements
The displays you showcased, were IPS panels from the iPhone XR/11, Not OLED...
Ok this is a good use for it.
bro can call 3 people at once
it should be called the triplephone
Mobilesentrix > REWA
I think a good test would be playing HDR content on the screens you look at
And have some sort of way to test dimming zones
REWA Technology have a TH-cam channel where they demonstrate repair and upgrades of Apple iPhones. My personal favorite video of theirs is the replacement of an eSIM with physical SIM tray adapter.
Gotta say, on camera the repart looked brighter than the Apple Original💀
I have a simple question, Does display quality degrade after a replacement?
Here’s the thing does it have True Tone?
I would actually prefer the slightly dimmer one I always keep my brightness all the way down but it’s still too bright
Yeah 1/2 the reason I bought a 14 pro max is the 2000 nit display I can actually see in Australian sun (1750 nits on the s22/23 ultra was too dim to see and I was severely dissatisfied after TH-camrs said “ohhh you can easily see the 1750nit display without squinting and then I actually got them and it was dim af)

Put #ad so people know
Rewa is making it difficult to buy their screens. Shipping fees are insane.
Is this option still feasible after the iOS18?

What tools do you use to repair phones
If you think that repart is better than the competition compare them with other screen manufacturers soft OLED
I didn’t have any at the moment of filming this :/
Can you compare it with a generic soft OLED
Where can I find a regular apple screen without all the other stuff, and how much does it cost
It’s for my moms iPhone 13
An apple original screen will cost WAY more than a third party screen

I would like to have a name of the gadget you are using for the test.
How does it have a battery life?
I don’t want to know what the screen is, I more like wanna know what the device is used to test up to 3 Screens?!
PRG, is there a way to overclock android screens?
That's sometimes possible with root. But other than in specific instances where the manufacturer has nerfed a display, not worth it.
