The problem with jacking at the point you show is that it is also the ideal place for your axle stand to be located. I have found it better to use a jack under the centre of the front subframe crossmember, leaving both front jacking points free for axle stands

An imperial ton is 2000lb ...so four jacks would be able to lift TWO tons
