Couldn't agree more when it comes to Fivio. He shined with his feature, as well as Jay Elec, though not quite as much. Jay laid one of the best verses I've heard in years. Eloquence unmatched.
Jays verse wasn’t even that great. Like it was fire but like people are overhyping it so much. Fivio’s was amazingly worded and the flow was fucking dope on that beat man. Def put Fivio>Jay on this album.
lAmDreary it's ok for people to have opinions ...and he didn't compare them overall,it was strictly their respective verses on donda, and he's not wrong.
That line was dope when you think about it. Kanye has the song *gentlemen* in Paris and where did Messi just move to? Paris-Saint German! Surprised no one talking about that
All jokes aside I'm not a Kanye Stan, but this this album is absolutely CLASSIC We will remember it in a decade, it literally touched my soul, as a grown ass man. It brings out all types of emotions, that's what classic albums do. CLB DID NOT trigger any emotion.
he isn't the biggest drake fan so I wouldn't be surprised (edit: I reworded my comment to take out me calling him a drake hater because I think people thought I was insulting him by calling him a "drake hater")
My personal favourite track was probably “Obama Hamburger Sussy Balls”. It was such a well-produced track with incredibly raw and exposing lyrics that it instantly pushed the album up from a 7 to a 10 for me.
I was walking home at midnight when "Moon" was playing on my head phones. I looked up in the sky and there were so many stars. Looked fucking beautiful! Made me cry a little. Donda got a nigga crying bruh shit is a master piece
I remember getting high as shit and listening to the first listening “party” and when baby keems verse came on i thought it was the hardest verse of the year 🤣🤣
People said the Globgolabglab was a very left field choice but I would like to remind you that Kayne West had planned to create a cinematic reboot for the Jetsons
I been listenig to the deluxe version and didnt like it that much but when i did the original release i was shocked how amazing and different it sounded and had gospel progression towards the end, while deluxe be like: good track, mid track after one another
Let me be honest here. The first time when I listened to this album I didn't liked it much. But when I listened to it more and more I kinda grew on this album. This album has so much replay value. Many people may call him crazy and maybe he may be misunderstood but Kanye is an artistic genius and creative when it comes to making music.
I love how people basically know Fantano's opinion as much as Fantano does at this point Literally the first thing I heard people say about this album is "Yeah, Fantano is giving this a 7"
Yeah,, in my first listens i already knew fantano would give this a 7 but the more i listened to it.. i leaned towards to a light 9.. guess fantano didn't like it more and more overtime like i did.
This is one of the albums that has so many good songs but it only got a 7 because of a few unpolished tracks that dragged the score down. If donda ever gets a TLOP type update I think it could get a 9 from melon
Dunkey is soo funny because he actually passionately loves Kanye and Rap. Just like he loves video games. So he has a good perspective and sees when something is extra retarded 🤣😂
I mean yeah, Fantano's scores are insanely predictable and biased towards the artist, he doesnt actually know how to critically think or analyze music at all, hes just another shitty content creator collecting a paycheck. Sooner you realize that the better off youll be.
he needed to push the gospel sound as far as he did in JIK in order to be able to pull back and find a way to meld that sound into what we hear on Donda.
Now that its been over a month, I have returned to this album consistently and its got better with time, its super impressive and one of my favourite Kanye Albums to date.
Fantano can be a straight up dumbass at times, it wasnt supposed to sound "good" it was his mothers last heartbeats and the number of Dondas said was his mothers age.....
@@high44extent64 that's a fine artistic statement. Doesn't mean I have to listen to it. This notion that an artist, any artist, having a specific intention behind an artistic choice is a worthy counterargument to someone not enjoying it is dumb as hell.
