    I'll never make these pants, only because I don't know how to sew or have a sewing machine but it made me appreciate how much work goes into a pair of tracksuit pants. Great video

    Amazing video, two questions though, how much is the total cost of all the fabric for one pair and how long did they take you to make? Thank you!

    When you are topstitching, are you using a ‘knit stitch’ (versus a straight stitch) on your machine?

    For the waistband, did you use a straight stitch on the elastic? How does that work

    This may sound silly but would this work if I made them for myself as I am a male and obviously with male anatomy, because usually male sweatpants have more give in the front crotch I know there is sewing patterns for male joggers but I can’t find any I like the fit of but yours I really like please forgive me if I don’t make sense

      I have more details about the fabric choice and recommendations in the instructional e-book that comes with the pattern, but I used a sweatshirt fleece!

    What’s that wood thing at the waistband?

    • @DressmakingAmore
      @DressmakingAmore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a wooden pressing block called a Tailor’s Clapper, it draws moisture out of fabric after pressing, cools the fabric down, and imprints the desired shape into the fabric. If you don't have one yet I highly recommend one! I have a link to one in the description of this video :)
