Oh My Lord!! Buddy, I’m so excited for you; you did it right. Love that low to mid range torque for my riding style, yours too it appears. Over 130 torque is all anyone needs, especially as light as your bike is! Don’t you just love that throttle response which will take a short bit to get used to, but when you want it, the bike doesn’t even think about it, it’s just gone. He was lurching in the parking lot, looked like Secretariat just wanting you to turn the reins loose and let him run! The bike is still rideable, the sound is off the hook, that 30/30 Cam packs a punch! So cool, brother!
Thank you so very much! Yes, indeed. White Lightning really took this bike to the next level. I can't wait to get back out there. I have a really fun ride planned for this Saturday on the LRST so it should be a fun day of twist and turns. As always I really so appreciate your time and thank you for always supporting the channel with your time!
I put in the 30/30 cam in my 22’ ST and it’s definitely loader and vibrates more. I didn’t end up changing my throttle body, but it increased my fuel injectors and went with the Dyno jet wide band O2 sensor target tune. And man does this thing go. Great video and I’m looking forward to your next! 🇨🇦
Nice. It took me sometime to get use to my stage with the 30/30 .485 cam. That torque is so crazy with that cam. I’m still using it now on my 128 build. It hits hard soon as you crack the throttle. Nice choice and you’re going to love it. Ride safe my brother
Hey Kelly! Man, I really appreciate that. So far, it has been a great experience and hopefully it will continue. Take care, ride safe, and thank you for watching!
I heard and read people on both sides of the argument...some said yes and others said no. I still have a few misc things that I'd like to do so that might be in the future. I appreciate your time very much sir and thank you for watching!
Recently purchased a ‘24 LRST in tobacco fade. Since the dealership I purchased it from was not in my hometown, I opted for the stage two before picking it up to avoid future hassle. Went with the Andrews 485 bolt in cam, Sawicki speed mid length exhaust and some miscellaneous internal parts recommended by the dealer. Dyno results were 122 hp and 136 torque. Didn’t mess with the throttlebody or jetting, but went with the power vision, tuner (dealer recommendation). I don’t have a frame or reference for the stock version, but this bike is plenty fast for the street. Torque is a blast too. This is my first “small” Harley, and I must admit that I’m enjoying it! Congrats on your build.
That sounds awesome man and that Tobacco Fade is beautiful! So far I am super happy with the results and looking forward to a future road trip soon. Ride safe and thank you very much for watching!
I was told by my dealer that a power vision tuner would void my warranty on my 24 road glide. This was just 6 days ago. Is it just a dealer specific thing?
@@billanderson2763 It seems to be dealer dependent. My dealer is in Texas and advertises their shop as a “speed shop.” They do not state that this automatically voids the warranty. I know I may be rolling the dice a bit, not knowing exactly how they’re going to treat an issue. I followed their recommendations. Hopefully, I won’t need to find out! If your dealer doesn’t want to cooperate, unfortunately, there’s not much you can do, other than to search out one that is more flexible. Good luck!
I had the Vance & Hines FP4 tuner and it was running super hot (Lean) so I went with the PV tune on the dyno at my local dealership. Gained 17% in HP and Torque with a stock cam. Hopefully it runs somewhat COOLER.
@@TyFromTennessee I’m leading a Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club ride to Whiskey Throttle BBQ Saturday. Looking forward to some great bbq and great ride up over Monteagle. Thanks for the recommendation!
Right on! It's such a fun ride and was SOOOO much power now. I can't wait to get back out on the road. Thank you sir. I absolutely appreciate your time today!
I hope they put a high Performance new clutch in it as you do not want a burn it up with a little bit more power you had added to the motor also what did white lighting say you bumped the bike up to since it had a 117 when you bought it ..
No new clutch right now, but if the bike needs it then I will most certainly do that. Not sure what it is now if not a 117, but the motorcycle is still so comfortable just quite a bit faster than before. Have a great day Jeff and thank you for watching!
It’s so obvious by your excitement how much that motor must rip. I am buying a new bike for my 62 Bday last month and LOVE the Low Rider ST. Only concern is weight. I know there are many people in their 70s still riding baggers. I am torn between this bike and the new Indian Scout 101 which weighs 547 lbs which is significantly lighter. Such a tough decision. I am just trying to figure out how I could try to see if I have strength to lift this bike if it drops. Any suggestions? I wish a dealership could lay a down a used bagger on grass to see if I could lift it up knowing if I could they would make a sale. I love torque and this is the same build I would want Congrats on such an amazing bike & build which must feel like it has endless torque. Safe travels my friend🙏
You are so right. My LRST is so much lighter than my Road Glide. It would be tough to pick up the RG alone for sure. The touring models just have so much weight to them. So far the build for my LRST is outstanding. I will be taking it out tomorrow to meet up with some friends and I'm really excited about it. Congrats on whatever new bike purchase you decide. It's a touch choice for sure and I hope you have a fantastic birthday!!
@@TyFromTennessee I am happy you agree about the weight of the heavy bikes. The LRST reminds me of a smaller Street Glide. I do NOT like going 100 MPH but love going from 0 to 60 as quickly as possible and love torque. I swear I felt the torque of that engine coming through my computer screen. I do have to ask you about the cam you used. I thought using a non screaming eagle cam voids the extended warranty on the engine. Is that not the case and did your dealer agree to honor the warranty with the cam you used? I only ask because if you were riding out of town/state and had an issue, would a different dealer honor warranty. My last Street Glide which weighed 828 lbs had the 88 Twin Cam which felt a tad sluggish even with a stage 2. I remember test riding a CVO Road King with the 103 engine and was blown away how much more torque it had versus my 88 stage 2. I can’t even begin to imagine what a stage 2 on a M8 117 must pull like. We all heard your excitement in the video. Do you still ride the RG or is that only used when taking your wife out for a ride? I would think the lighter LRST is way more fun to ride. Last question is did you ever consider the LRS? The bike would be even lighter without the fairing and I would put leather saddlebags on bike to also reduce weight versus the LRST. Just trying to figure out how much protection you get from wind without the fairing. Thanks again for posting the video. I enjoyed watching you ride that new build as much as you enjoyed riding. Great job my friend and stay safe🙏
